Two Worlds Collide

Chapter 32

A/N: This is going to have a small Jordan POV in it. This chapter and the next may also be a tear jerker for you.

Maya POV

As I made my towards Lucas mom she spotted me then turned to Tony. She leaned down to talk to Lily and then walked over to me. She took me out of Lily's view and pulled me to the side to talk to me.

"Maya, whats wrong?" she said alarmed.

"Lucas is blaming me for all of this. I came back so I could be with Lily. He wants you and Tony to be with him. " I sobbed.

Sarah sighed "Let me go tell Tony to keep Lily." she said then walked back over to where Tony was.

"Okay." I replied.

After a few seconds she came back to me "Come on lets go." she said to me.

"I'm so sorry that your grandson is missing. It's all my fault. I should have been watching him." I replied.

"Maya, it's not your fault. She would have found a way to get him no matter what." Sarah replied.

Sarah and I made our way back to the arcade. We found Lucas who was talking to the police officer.

"What's going on?" Sarah said to them.

"The Amber Alert is now out. They are getting some tips." Lucas replied.

"Okay so we have put the alert out, the officers back at the station are looking into every tip that is received, as well as looking into highway security footage." he replied. "There is nothing more to do here. Why don't you guys go home and we will keep in touch with you."

"Thank you again." Lucas replied.

The officer walked away and Sarah looked over at Lucas "Lucas why are you blaming Maya for this?" his mom asked him.

"She should have been watching him more closely." he replied.

"But you know Jennifer would have found a way to take him regardless. You now how she is." she answered.

"Mom, I'm not doing this right now. Lets go." he said she sighed.

We walked out of the arcade and down to where the Santa Claus was. By the time we got donw there Lily had already seen him. She was so excited about getting to see him and telling him all she wanted. Lucas parents offered to take Lily with them while Lucas and I rode in the truck. Once in there I turned to look at him

"Are you seriously blaming me for this?" I said to him as we began to drive out of the mall.

"It was your idea to go to the arcade and he should have been watched more closely." he replied.

"Lucas we were watching you play a game. He was right there with us." I answered. "It's not like I expected this to happen."

"You are a mom. It should come natural to you that you need to watch out." he replied and I was starting to get so angry.

"Oh yeah because clearly things can't happen in a matter of seconds. Come the fuck on Lucas. " I retorted.

Lucas didn't say anything to me the rest of the way home. Once we he pulled I got out of the truck slamming the door behind me. I walked into the house to find that Lucas parents had a movie on for Lily. As the night went on Lucas didn't speak to me at all. When it came to bed time I took Lily up with me and she asked if she could sleep with me. I told her she could and got in bed with her. I ended up dozing off at some point only to be woke up at 10:00 by Lucas's mom.

Jordan POV

I was standing beside Lily and Maya watching Daddy play the game when a lady walked up to me. The lady told me in my ear that to come with her that she was my Mommy and I knew that she wasn't lying because my Daddy had showed me pictures of my Mommy before. Daddy talked to me about my Mommy all the time when I would ask about her. This year I was going to ask Santa for a Mommy because I wanted a Mommy so badly Maybe Santa already knew I wanted a Mommy. Daddy says he has a magic ball that he can see me in so maybe Santa already knew that I wanted to have a Mommy for Christmas and that's why my real Mommy showed up. Daddy always told me don't go with people you don't know but I knew her because she was my Mommy so I went with her. I think it was okay to go with her since I knew her. I told my mommy I wanted to see Santa. She said to me I would get to see Santa that she would take me to see him but we couldn't see him here that we had to go somewhere else to see him. My Mommy took my hand and we walked out of the arcade. She said we were going to do something fun and go for a ride. She said that she had presents for me and that we would have lots of fun together. I asked her where we were going and she said it was a surprise. My mommy put me in her car and then we left the mall. The car ride was so boring and I was starting to miss my Daddy and Maya. I asked my Mommy if we were almost there yet and she said we would be there soon. I have been in the car so long. I thought we were never going to get there. I just wanted my Daddy now. It was dark out and I was getting tired. I knew when it gets dark out that Daddy and Maya made me go to bed. My mommy said she had to put gas in car and so she went to a gas station. She got out of her car to put gas in it and left me in there. I looked out the window and watched my Mommy put gas in her car. When I was looking out the window at her a cop pulled up beside us but my Mommy didn't see it because she started to walk towards the store. Maya told me and Lily before we came to Nanna and Papa's that if we were at the airport and someone took us and we saw a cop to tell them. I unbuckled my seat belt, got down off my booster seat, and got out of my Mommys car. I ran over to the cop car and the cop was standing outside putting gas in it.

"Mr Cop. My name is Jordan Anthony Friar. I need your help. I want my Daddy". I said as I tugged on his shirt.

The cop looked down at me and quickly pulled out his walkie talkie. "I need some back up down here at the Excon station off Buffalo Gap rd that forms into Market Rd right off US-84 in Abilene. I've got the boy in the Amber Alert and need to apprehend the suspect in question that took him."

The nice cop made me get into his cop car and said I would see my Daddy soon. He told me to stay in there not leave and Daddy always told me to listen to what people tell me so I listened to him.
