A/N: I just realized that I had the weeks of Maya's pregnancy screwed up. lmao she would have only been about 17 weeks (Yes I'm keeping track LOL) on Jordan's birthday which I had as May 20th. So I'm going to change his birthday to June 15 and have edited it in Chapter 21 where Jordan tells Maya when his birthday is.

Maya POV

The kids last week of school was 5 days after Jordan's birthday. They have loved being home for the summer. Lily's babysitter Anna who keeps her during the summers for me is also keeping Jordan now. Lucas and I have been looking into bigger apartments but they are so expensive so we are unsure of what we want to do.  Lucas keeps talking about going back to Texas and building a large house on the farm. He said he could still keep his vet clinic here but hire Brian to run it and then he could open a branch of it in Texas. I love the idea but the only issue is taking Lily from her Dad. Speaking of Lily's dad he told me he wanted to meet with me today to talk to me about something so Mom is going to keep the kids for me so that Lucas can come with me. I was trying to find something to wear and was getting frustrated because nothing fit and then eventually that turned into tears. Mine and Lucas's room looked like a tornado swept through and as I was in the middle of crying Jordan came in.

"Mommy, what happened?" he said as he walked over to me and crawled up on the bed beside me.

"I'm just trying to find something to wear baby." I sniffled.

"Are you crying?" he asked me as he gave me a hug.

"I'm fine, baby. I just get frustrated sometimes." I replied I said as I kissed him on the cheek.

Jordan got back down off the bed and went out to the living room. I continued to cry over everything not fitting me. A few minutes later Lucas came into the room. I didn't hear him come in because I was in my closet.

"Maya?" Lucas said as he came into the room.

"In my closet." I sniffled.

"What in the hell happened?" he said as he walked over to me.

"You got me pregnant and now nothing fits." I pouted.

"Put one of my t-shirts on. Me you and the kids can go shopping." he said and I leaned my head into his chest. "Jordan told me you were upset."

"Yeah, he came in when I was crying." I said as I looked up at him. "Is he okay?"

Lucas grabbed my hand walked me over to the bed. He sat down and then I sat down beside him. "Yes, he's fine. He told me to come talk to you though."

"He's so sweet." I said with a smile.

"What's really bothering you Maya? There is something else. I can just feel it." he replied and as much as I hated to admit it he's right.

"I'm nervous about this talk with Caleb, What if he wants to take Lily or something?" I answered truthfully.

"I don't think he would do that to you and even if he did it would never happen." Lucas answered.

"How can you be so sure?" I replied.

"Because I wouldn't fucking let him take her now put my shirt on so we can get going." he said as he leaned and kissed me softly.

After getting dressed Lucas and I  left to meet Caleb at the cafe. I was really nervous about this talk because I didn't know what was going on.  I'm so glad that Lucas was with me. When we got there Caleb was sitting in a table with Cara.

"Hi, Maya thanks for coming to meet up with us." Caleb replied as I sat down at the table.

"Anytime. How are you doing Cara?" I said with a smile.

"I'm good Maya, thanks for asking." she replied.

I loved Cara. She was always so sweet and nice to me. "This is my fiance Lucas. I don't think you have met him."

"Nice to meet you, Lucas." she said as she put her hand out.

"Nice to meet you as well." he said as he gently shook her hand.

"You guy's aren't going to try to take Lily away from me or anything are you?"

Lucas grabbed my hand under the table and his touch immediately calmed my anxiety. "She's been worried about that." he spoke up.

"Stop worrying Maya, we aren't going to take Lily away from you." Caleb replied. "Cara has some news that we wanted to discuss with you."

"Okay, well that makes me feel somewhat better what is going on?" I asked.

"I got an amazing job offer out in California for a magazine. We are thinking about moving out there but we both wanted to talk to you about this first." she answered.

"Lily is a big concern. I love my daughter with all my heart but I don't want this to have effect on her. I want to see her still. She could come out in the summers and some holidays with us." Caleb replied.

I looked over at Lucas and I had a feeling by the look on his face that we were thinking the same thing. "Well. it's funny you mention moving because Lucas and I have been discussing doing the same."

Caleb looked at us with a surprised expression on his face "Really?" he said.

"Yeah, with the twins coming and everything we've been discussing on upgrading to a bigger space but the apartments are so expensive here. We've bee thinking of going back to Austin, Texas and building a house right on Lucas family farm. This way the kids have free reign and a big area to play in, and his parents are right there to help if we need it. I've been hesitant about it mainly because I didn't want Lily to not see you."

"Maya if you want to do that we could make it work. You would actually be a lot closer to me if you moved there. It would be a 19 hour drive but by flight would be quicker." Caleb replied. "And as far as Liliana goes I will FaceTime her and call her everyday. If she starts missing me you can call me anytime."

"What about the summers?" Lucas said speaking up.

"Yeah that would be my biggest concern. I don't know how she would do if I sent her out there an entire summer." I answered.

"Maybe we could start off with her spending a month with us." Cara suggested.

"I could agree with that. Once she got older we could let her go longer. I think this change would be good for all of us but we need to make sure the kids especially Lily are top priority. She loves her Daddy and I don't know how she will do with this big of a change."

"Lets sit her down and talk to her. The four us together. and see how she does then we could go from there. If she doesn't do good once the move happens we can take more steps. If we need to get her into talk to someone then we can do that." Caleb replied.

"I think that's good." Lucas replied. "You okay with this short stack?"

I nodded "I am.  We seem to all be in agreement that she comes first. Caleb is right the next step is to talk to her." I replied. "Caleb I really am so happy that you aren't one of those dads that an asshole about when it comes to seeing their child. Thank you for being so understanding when it comes to our baby girl."

"Of course Maya. I want what is best for her as well." he answered.

We talked a little bit more about the move and came up with a lot of different things we could do. I was so relieved about all of this. Lucas family farm was the perfect place to raise our growing family. I couldn't wait to get out there with our babies and live the farm life.
