A/N: I have 3 other chapters drafted so no long waits for up dates.

Lucas POV

Everything was happening in slow motion. My heart was pounding and the anxiety in my chest was becoming overwhelming. My son was gone and his bio mother was the one that possibly took him. When the police and mall security arrived to the arcade they started questioning people who were in there to find out if any of them may know anything that could help them locate my son. As the police did the questioning they were able to get someone to look at the mall security footage.

"Mr Friar?" the nice police officer said breaking me out of my trance.

"Yes? Have you found anything." I asked him.

"I just heard back from one of my officers. They do have footage of him leaving with someone and were also able to get a licence plate number due to the parking lot surveillance. An Amber Alert is going to be put out since he meats the criteria. We will need a recent picture of Jordan and for you to go with one of the officers to look at the footage to confirm if it was indeed his Mom that took him." he replied.

"I do have a picture of him. Is there anyway I could text it to you?" I asked him.

"Yes." the officer replied. "Ms Hart we would like to question your daughter since she is witness to him leaving. Are you okay with this?"

"Yes, but could I give my lawyer friend a call beforehand?" she asked him and I looked at her with an annoyed look.

"Yes that would be fine. "the officer said. "I'll be right back. I'm going to let them know to question the little girl. "

Once the officer started walking away I turned to look at Maya who was looking at me "Do you mind telling me what the look was about?" she asked.

"They are trying to find my son and you want to call a lawyer." I snapped.

"I'm sorry but my daughter is 6 years old and I want to make sure its okay for her to be questioned without a lawyer." she retorted and I could see that she was clearly hurt.

I didn't say another word. Instead I walked over to the officer to find out when we were going to go look at the footage.

Maya POV

It was taking everything in me to be strong in front of my 6 year old. I didn't want her to see how upset I was. I  pulled my phone out and called Topanga. She picked up on the first ring.

(A/N: Formatting this convo differently)

Topanga: Maya?

Me: Topanga, I really need your advice.

Topanga: Whats wrong? You seem upset.

Me: I'm very upset. Jordan has gone missing. We think his bio mom took him, Lucas is blaming me. and they want to question Lily. What do I do about them wanting to question Lily?

Topanga: Oh my god Maya. First of all this is a really stressful situation for Lucas so try not to take to heart what he's saying. Imagine if it was Lily that was missing. Secondly can you tell me why they want to question Lily.

Me: Because she was witness to him being taken. Should I get legal counsel? What do I do.

Topanga: No. She will be fine. I say let her talk to them anything to help him right now is best and you don't want to delay anything Maya. They will probably just ask her a couple of questions and that's it.

Me: Okay thank you so much Topanga. I love you.

Topanga: I love you too. Call me later and let me know what's going on. I will get a hold of Riley as well.

Me: Will do.

After Topanga and I hung up I walked over to the officer that Lucas had talked to. I asked him I could be present when Lily was questioned and he said of course. A nice police officer woman came and took us in a back room of the arcade where she talked to Lily. Topanga was right it went rather quickly. When we got back out there Lucas had returned with his parents in toe. I was so scared that his parents were going to hate me.

"Did you find anything out?" I asked him.

"It was his mom that took him. They are hoping once the Amber Alert goes out it will help track them down. Mom and Dad came here as soon as they found out." Lucas replied.

"I just can't believe  it. She's not been in his life the past 5 years and now she wants to take him?" Sarah chimed in.

"Once we get him back I'll make sure it never happens again." Tony replied.

The cop walked back over to us and I was hoping for good news. "The Amber Alert is going to go out shortly We have some of our other officers looking at highway cams in hope we can track her car and the direction it my be headed." he said to us.

"Thank you, officer." Lucas replied.

"We'll do everything we can to find your son." he replied.

"I appreciate it." he replied in a sad tone.

"Yes, thank you. We appreciate all you are doing to locate him and bring him home safely." Sarah said to the officer.

The officer reassured us they'd do everything they could to find Jordan. Lucas's parents offered to take Lily to see Santa to get her away from this chaos and I told them that was fine. Once they walked away Lucas turned to look at me anger in his face.

"Thanks Maya. My son is missing, and my parents come here to help me then you let them take Lily." he replied.

"They offered to take..." I said but then he cut me off.

"I know they offered but you could have told them not to go." he answered.

"I will go be with Lily." I said sadly and walked away leaving Lucas in the arcade.

I made my way out of the arcade and couldn't hold my tears in anymore. I started sobbing as I made my way to go to where they were. I really hoped they found Jordan soon. I felt so horrible that he was missing and was so upset that Lucas was blaming me.
