All too soon, it was time to say goodbye to my parents and brother.

Charles carried the last suitcase down the stairs and we all met in the hallway.

I pouted as I put my boots on and my jacket.

"We'll miss you guys so much." My mother said.

"We'll miss you too." I replied before giving her a big hug.

I hugged my dad and Ben too, ruffling Ben's hair one last time.

My mother pulled Charles into a big hug and my dad and Ben gave him a handshake.

"Oh, right. Can I have your cell phone number Ben?" I asked.

"Yep!" He replied.

I tossed him my phone and he put his number in before tossing it back to me.

I smiled and put it in my coat pocket.

"It was so nice to meet you all." Charles said with a smile.

"We loved having you here, Charles." My mother replied.

"Hopefully we'll see you again soon." My dad said with a wink.

We all smiled before departing.

"Bye! Love you!" I yelled from the car window as we pulled out of the driveway.

My family were waving to us from the front porch and Charles and I both waved back.

After we pulled out of the driveway, I sighed and leaned back in my seat.

"I'm gonna miss them."  I said quietly.

"I will too, but we can always come back soon." Charles replied, taking my hand.

"That would be nice." I said with a smile.

Not long after, my eyes were closed and I drifted off to sleep.

"Babe, we're home." I woke up to the sound of Charles' soft voice.

I groaned and rubbed my eyes. I felt hands wrap around me and pick me up.

I was carried up the front steps and into the house. I opened my eyes to see both of our suitcases already in the living room.

I shut them again as Charles carried me into the bedroom and put me down on the bed.

He took my boots off and put a blanket over me.

I smiled as he kissed me on the cheek. I heard him walk out of the room and I fell back asleep.

The next morning, I woke up and walked into the kitchen to see Charles in a suit.

"Good morning." I said, yawning and stretching my arms.

"Good morning." He replied, walking over to me.

He pulled me into a hug and I sighed.
