Meeting up with USWNT

Sorry I haven't been active I have been dealing with problems like Hurricane Matthew and I had to evacuate.

It was 5:00 and Moe texted me.

Moe: Can you meet up with us at Olive Garden at 6:30?

Me: Yeah

Moe: see you then

Me: see ya

I took a shower then put on my soccer t-shirt and jeans. I ran down stairs running a little late and kiss mom goodbye. I got at Olive Garden at 6:35.

"You finally showed up," mom say while laughing.

"Sorry I lost track of time," I said.

"It's okay lets go sit down,"Moe says.

I went in and the whole team was there. I thought I was only going to be Moe and her gang she brought to the game. I kind of got scared.

"You must be the rookie that Moe talked about," Carli said.

"Wait what I'm not on the team so I'm not a ..."

I got cut off by Moe.

"I have an important message. I talk to Jill about something and agree that y/n can join the team," Moe said.

I was in shock and didn't say anything. Before I can say anything. Hope said something.

"Yay, new rookie joining us. I'm excited to be playing with her. Also Moe showed me y/n highlights and they were awesome." Hope said.

"Moe told me before any of you that we were adding a new member," Carli said with a smile.

"Thank you guys. This is the best day of my life. You just made my week better," I say.

"Speaking of soccer what happen to your wrist?" Moe asked.

"I fell on my wrist weird during a game," I lied, but they didn't know that.

"Oh okay hope it feels better," They all say.

After our meeting, we ate and they told me to pack and head to the hotel. Before they left I asked Moe a question.

"Moe what am I gonna do about my mom?" I asked.

"I can call someone to take care of your mom," she said.

"You will, thank you so much,"I said with a bright smile.

"No problem, get packed and come over because we have practice tomorrow," she said.

"Okay, see you later," I say.

"See ya," Moe said.

I went back home and packed. I went downstairs. I told mom that someone is gonna take care of you. I kiss her goodbye and headed to the hotel. I went in they said I was in room 214. I walked to my room and opened the door. I was rooming with Mal. After I settle in, Mal and I got to know each other. After that we went to sleep.
