Chapter 19

Katniss P.O.V.

During these past months I've been trying to get Marvel and Clove together. But I just can't. I know that they like each other but they just won't admit it. The master of match making has indeed been defeated.

Skeeter and Gale is starting to piss me off. I mean they love each other and that's good. But they can't even look at each other without starting to make out. They make out everywhere, and
I mean everywhere.

Even at the kindergarden.

Peeta, Gale, Skeeter and I was going to pick up Posy. Gales baby sister, from kindergarden. And they stared to make out there. Posy got really scared. I swear bet that she's scared for life now because of that.

I mean, not that Peeta and I aren't like that, because we are, but we are a bit more discreet than Gale and Skeeter.

Anyway, now it's Christmas break and I'll spend Christmas with Peeta and his family ... I just hope his mother won't be there, but if Peeta is letting me come to his family home, I guess that she won't be there, but why though? I mean... It's Christmas after all.

"No mom is spending her Christmas with my aunt in Florida", Peeta tells me. "I hate my aunt too, she's not mean like mom, but she's always criticizing me, but not my brothers, what does they have against me? I mean come on seriously now!"

"Forget about them now Peeta", I say, and brush back hair from his forehead. "They're not worth it, you know",

Peeta nods.

"But it's hard, I mean they are family after all", he sighs.

"Yeah I know, baby", I say. "But just try okay?"

"I'm trying", Peeta says.

"I know", I assure him, because I do know that he tries to do so. "And I'm proud of you, just so you know".

Peeta smiles shyly.

I peck his lips.

Were spending Christmas with Peetas family, but tonight our flight leaves. We're going to my grandparents. I promised them that I would come, and that I would bring Prim.

Glimmer and Marvel are already there of course, and they tells me that grandpa and grandma misses me so much and they're longing to meet Prim.

When I told Prim about this she got so angry at our mother for not telling us. I'm still not speaking with her, Prim is though, I mean she's only thirteen after all, and she needs a mother more then I do, I mean I've been without one for so long that I became my own mother. I don't need her. Really, I don't think that I'm ever going to be able to forgive her. A bit harsh maybe, but what she did ... I can't even explain in words how wrong that was.

So Peeta and I are taking Prim there. Annie and Finnick are going too, they also wanted to come, they said that get loved my grandparents.

I just hope that Prim can bond with our grandparents. But considering Prim is the most nicest girl ever, I knows that she'll try anything. And I have a feeling that this is going to work out great.

Hey you guys. I'm sorry that the chapter was so short, but I have a lot of exams and stuff going on in school now, considering that it's only one and a half week left before Christmas break. But I'm trying my best :)
