Chapter 44: Prom

Chapter 44

Katniss P.O.V.

The girls and I are all locked into my bedroom again.

Tonight is prom. The girls and I has been locked in here the whole day, and I'm not exaggerating one little bit.

The guys has been outside asking us if they can give us food or anything, but little did they know that we have a cooler bag with cold food and water.

After a few hours the guys got tired of knocking on the door, and told us that they were going out.

Tonight is the first time for everyone to see Skeeter in a dress and that's going to be fun. No we haven't put on the dresses yet. We're still on the makeup part.

It's not that we're slow or anything, it's just that we do it very detailed this time. I mean this is prom. You only love the prom once in your life.

"Done!" Glimmer says as she takes the lipgloss brush from Skeeters lips. "Perfection!"

She's really pretty in makeup. She don't wear makeup usually, but maybe she should, it fits her well, although she's very pretty without as well.

"Now, it's time for the dresses!" Annie shouts and claps her hands.

Everyone takes out their dresses from my closet. We all help each other to put them on so we don't destroy our makeup or hair.

My dress is a billowing glitter silver dress, that ends just below my ankles and on my feet i have skyny silver stiletto heels.

Every one gwak over my dress. They have all very beautiful dresses. And Skeeters dress is also very very pretty. It's blue and fits her body very well.

"Oh wow Katniss, you're so beautiful", Skeeter says admiring.

"I'm not, but all of you are very beautiful, I love all of your dresses", I say.

"Don't ever say you're not beautiful", Glimmer says.

"You sound just like Peeta", I sigh.

And that's true.Whenever I say that I'm not beautiful, he always says what Glimmer just said. It's like he actually gets angry by me saying I'm not beautiful.

"Well he's right", Clove says.

He's not, and they're not. I'm not beautiful. But I don't really care of I'm ugly, as long as Peeta likes me anyways and he does.

We fix the last things before we're completely done.

Then we feel ready to walk down to the boys, who we know are back, because we hear them.

We all walk down the stairs in a row and the boys looks at us with big eyes.

They all wear tuxedos and are all very handsome. But of course I think that Peeta is the most handsome one of all, and that's a true fact. He's the most handsome guy on the planet.

Each guy find their girls and gives them a kiss. I just love the feeling of Peeta's lips on mine.

We walk out and I see a big fat limo outside.

"What the...!" The girls and I shout.

"Your grandparents insisted", Peeta says.

Did I mention I love my grandparents?

We all sit inside the limo. Wow, I've never been inside a limo. Oooo this one has a mini fridge and a TV.

"Oooo this is just soooooo coooooll", Glimmer says exited as Cato tries to have his arm around her, but she's too exited so it just falls off.
