Chapter 1

Katniss P.O.V.

Beep-beep. Beep-beep. Beep-beep.

Ugh. Shut up, please!

Beep-beep. Beep-beep. Beep-beep.

Leave me alone. I wanna sleep!

Beep-beep. Beep-beep. Beep-beep.

I smash my hand on my stupid alarm clock, before turning to the side, but than I feel that Peeta isn't beside me.

I open my eyes and look. Empty.
I know that Plutarch had four rooms for us, but Peeta and I share a room and so does Annie and Finnick, so the to extra rooms will get used as guest rooms, I guess.

Mine and Peetas room is painted like the woods. Peeta painted the room, he made it feel like you're in the woods when you're inside this room. And it didn't take me long either, only two days, and this is very detailed painted so I got really amazed, I couldn't believe it.

No one of our friends knows about this beach house yet, we didn't feel like telling them, and they're going to find out today anyways.

I put my head back on the pillow and close my eyes. But only seconds later, the door opens and I hear those familiar soft and light, but still loud footsteps.

"Katniss, you awake?" Peeta asks.

I grown.

"I try not to be", I say.

"Oh come on now, it's the first day of school today", Peeta says.

"Oh alright", I sigh and sit up, searching for Peeta.

And there he stands. His hair is wet, and his upper body shines of water and he only has a towel around his wait to cover himself up a bit.

Oh my god. He's just too damn sexy. I mean is this even normal? To be this hot I mean.

His abs seem to tease me. I just wanna run my fingers down his abs, my god, I wanna lick his abs!

"Like what you see?" Peeta asks teasingly while smiling slyly.

I walk up from the bed.

"I do", I say. "And I'm proud to say that you're only mine, not just because of your looks, no that's just a bonus, no I'm proud of who you are as a person, and how good you paint and how you make me feel".

Peeta smiles.

"I could say all of that to you, just not the painting part and thsn some more stuff", Peeta says.

I smile and give him a short kiss before walking to the bathroom for a shower.

Today is the first day of school. The first day of our Senior Year in High School.
