First and Last

                Days past and I haven’t seen Scott. They were really busy for their mini concert and I didn’t know their recital was the same day. I wonder what Scott will play for his recital. By the way, my ankle already was already healed. Great, right?

                Even though I haven’t seen him, he texted me and sometimes called. We still keep in touch.

                “So, haven’t seen your prince charming?” Reina asked me.

                We were in the mall shopping. “Yeah,” I said to her.

                “Do you think Leo will like this?” Celine said. She was with us since Leo was busy practicing Soccer. I was used being with Celine even though Leo was my ex boyfriend.

                “Everything looks perfect on you,” Lorelei said. “I think even if you wear a garbage bag you will still look beautiful.”

                Celine laughed.

                “Yeah. If I wore a garbage bag I will look like a big garbage can.” Amber joked. If you were thinking Amber was ugly, the answer was no.

                “I’m serious,” Celine laughed.

                “Why? Something special coming up?” I asked her.

                “Well, it is our anniversary,” Celine said.

                “Really??” Reina said eyes widening.

                “When is it?” I asked her.

                “The last Friday of this month,” Celine said blushing.

                “So it’s going to be your 6 years together, right?” I asked.

                She nodded.

                “That’s great!” Amber said. “What’s your plan?”

                “Wait! The last Friday of this month?” Reina asked.

                Celine looked at her and nodded.

                “It’s the day of the concert,” Reina said.

                “So you’re not coming with us?” Lorelei asked.

                “Guys! That is their special day!” I exclaimed.

                So what happened? We dressed up Celine. It was fun since Celine was so beautiful that everything looked so good on her. At the end, we picked a cute pale pink tube cocktail dress.

                “Thank you all for the help,” Celine said shyly.

                “What friends are for?” Lorelei said smiling.

                I was so happy for Celine and Leo, they got back together. They still continued their love for each other and now their sixth anniversary was coming up. Could you believe it? Six?? So long right? Well, that’s love.

                The following day, we heard there was a new student.

                “I didn’t know there was a new student,” Reina said and she was really curious since she was used to be the first one to know.

                “Was it a guy?” Lorelei asked.

                “I heard it was a girl,” Amber said.

                “Wonder when we’ll meet her,” I said.

                Then we noticed someone walking towards our direction. A girl with eyeglasses. I guess this was the new student.

                “Are you the new student?” Reina suddenly asked the girl. She was still upset that she wasn’t the first one to know.

                The girl looked at us and we gasped.

                “Are you Angelica’s twin sister?” Lorelei suddenly asked.

                The girl laughed – it was Angelica’s voice.

                “Angelica?” I asked.

                The girl nodded.

                “What happened to you? You look like a nerd,” Amber said.

                “Well, an angel told me it’s not too late to change,” she said while looking at me. I wonder why she was looking at me. I’m not the one who told her that.

                “So you are only wearing contact lens?” Reina asked.

                Angelica wasn’t wearing glasses before.

                “Yeah,” she said. “This is the real me.”

                “Well, well, well. I can’t believe you can actually change,” Amber said. “But still I’m happy for you. Just don’t do anything bitchy or we’ll -”

                “Amber,” I started.

                We heard Angelica laughed. I looked at her. I’m really happy for her.

                “I guess I’m not calling you Bitchgelica anymore,” Reina sighed. “Your name Angelica suits you better.” She smiled at her.

                “Well, I need to go to my class,” Angelica told us but before she left she held my hand. “I’m really sorry for what I did to you. I hope you’ll forgive me. – And I wish for you and Scott’s happiness.”

                I smiled at her. “I forgive you. And don’t wish for our happiness yet. We’re not getting married.”

                She smiled at me and she left.

                “Can you believe it? She actually changed,” Lorelei said.

                “I wonder who the angel is,” I said.

                “My God! It’s Scott of course!” Reina told me.

                “How did you know?” I asked her.

                “Well, it’s obvious. Scott talked to her the day you went missing in the mountains. Maybe he said something to change her ways,” Amber said.

                I smiled thinking of Scott.
