Chapter 37

                Scott approached us after their recital.

                I hugged him. “I love your song,” I told him.

                “It is meant for you,” he said.

                I blushed.

                “The concert will start soon,” he told us.

                “Hey Scott!” I heard Leo called.

                “Hey!” Scott said.

                “You rock man!” Leo said. Scott laughed. “I’m sorry but we can’t see your concert tonight.”

                I looked at Leo and he put his arms around Celine’s waist. I think Scott saw it too.

                “That’s alright man. Thanks for watching the recital.” Scott said.

                “It was their anniversary,” I whispered at Scott.

                Scott smiled. “Hey you two. Happy Anniversary,” Scott greeted.

                “Thank you,” Celine said.

                “Well, we’ll be going then. Good luck on the concert!” Leo said then they left.

                “I will play and sing something for you in the concert,” Scott said.

                “What is it?” I asked him.

                “Just wait,” he said then kissed me on the cheeks and he left.

                I blushed. We haven’t gotten back together yet.

                The concert started and everybody in the conservatory of music was playing. I saw Scott at the side playing his guitar. His friends were there too.

                After five songs, Scott approached the microphone. “Good evening guys! Are you having fun?!”

                I heard shouting. I think my ears were bleeding with the shouts.

                “I’m so glad. But I’ll be playing two love songs for someone special to me. Someone I’m waiting for so long.”

                I heard cheering now.

                “This is for her . . . “

                Then the music started.

                The song ended and everybody clapped. Scott was the one who sang the song and he was a great singer. I think he got all the talent in the world.

                He really did try anything to be with me. He came back for me. He still loves me after all these years. And he waited for me. Even though I fell in love with someone else, he was still there loving me. Was it our time to be together?
