Scott’s P.O.V
“Have you seen Lindsay?” I heard someone said.
I looked and saw her friend Reina asking.
The one she asked shook her head and Reina asked another person. Lindsay was missing? I went to Reina and asked her.
“Reina,” she looked at me really worried.
“Scott! Have you seen Lindsay?”
“I thought she’s with you?” I told her.
“I thought she’s with you but your friends told us you were with them,” she said.
“What’s happening?” Leo came to us.
“Lindsay is missing,” Reina said.
Lorelei and Amber came to us. “Someone sees her. He told me he saw Lindsay stayed behind.” Lorelei said.
“Why?” Leo asked.
“I don’t know.” Lorelei said.
I started to get worried. Where was she? Why did she stay behind? What happened to her?
“Do you think something happened to her?” Amber asked.
“It’s raining,” Reina said looking at the window. We were in the living room.
“It’s raining?” I asked her.
She nodded at me. Then – ding – we thought the same thing.
“We need to find her!” Reina said. “And fast!”
Lindsay’s friends and I to started talking at the same time. “Who will go out?”
“I will bring a flashlight.”
“We need to tell the Professor.”
“Lindsay! Where are you??”
“Will you stop talking?” Leo said cutting in. “What’s with the rain and Lindsay?”
“Not the rain. The thunder,” Lorelei said.
“What about it?” Leo asked.
“She’s afraid of the thunder,” I told him.
He looked at me. “Why?”
Even Lindsay’s friends looked at me. “She didn’t tell us why,” Amber said.
Then we heard the thunder again.
“We need to find her,” I said.
“But the rain is so heavy. How can we find her in this weather?” Reina cried.
