Quickly after Nicole sends her message, she deletes it. I would too, no one sane wishes to invoke Katelyn's wrath.
Maybe I should explain why we are all not pleased with the fall carnival. In short, Dante and Nicole got shoved into a hole together last year, when they were dating. They ended up breaking up that night. Every year I'm forced to go into the haunted maze, which freaks me out. Not the clowns or the skeletons, though, it's the giant spiders that I hate. I shudder. Katelyn normally hates it too but last year she did in fact spend it all with Aph. Lucinda normally works the whole time. There are also other reasons, but I guess those are the most notable
But why does Garroth not seem to hot on the idea..?
Aphmau: Oh, c'mon guys! It'll be better this year, I promiseeeee!
Aphmau: wait hold up. Somethings missing here.

Lucinda:... at this point I'm just gonna accept it.

Dante: Laurance already coming up with pet names like
Dante then deletes his message, hoping I hadn't seen it. Too bad he's very unlucky. I take a deep breath to calm myself down. It's such a good thing we don't live together. He would be dead before any of us could take a freaking breath. Okay, still not calm enough. I take a moment and look back down at the group chat.
Aphmau:GREAT! so we'll all meet up at the carnival on Saturday!
Zane: alright.
Garroth: that should be enough time to mentally prepare myself.
Dante: no such thing as enough time, you'll never be fully prepared.
Travis: Ireally think you guys are overreacting...
KC: Kawaii~ Chan has experienced the fall festival... Travis~ kun, it can be pretty bad for some of us..
Me: no sugar, sherlock.
Garroth: I'm now adopting that phrase into my everyday vocabulary. Thank you.

A typing bubble shows up from Dante, then disappears. Good choice, honestly.
Travis: nerds come in packs of two, I guess.
Oh. Okay then. Travis sadly wasn't gifted with the same wisdom, I guess. At least he didn't say anything that would be too embarrassing. Or infuriating.
A notification sounds. Garroth sent a picture. it's a selfies of him, messy haired and wearing glasses and a star wars shirt. He smiles at the camera cutely. God, this man was too much.

I read a couple 'goodnight' messages and lock my phone, tossing it aside. Saturday is the festival. Two full days to prepare myself. This could get interesting.

Also, I feel likeIshould explain: This story is based off of what I thought of the characters around episode 75 or so of MCD season one. Like, most of the family stuff for Garroth is based on my theories, and Laurance being bisexual. Everything is based on what I think/thought is who these characters are, including heights, jokes, and relationships with other characters. Tl;dr: Nothing canon applies here, welcome to madness.
