Miraculous Ladybug One Shots

LadyNoir - Criminals

Adrien and Marinette are just two normal teenagers by day. Going to school, hanging out with friends, having crushes... You know the usual... Well not entirely... Thanks to their brainy best friends, Alya and Nino, the pair are Ladybug and Chat Noir by night, the two biggest criminal minds in Paris who just happen to be major competition and archenemies in the criminal world.

Adrien stood beside Nino who was staring into his computer screen, his fingers a blur against the keyboard. "So what's the next job?" The blonde asked his friend who didn't even give him a sideways glance.

Nino grabbed the mouse and clicked a interesting looking article about an expensive diamond just a few miles from there. An image of a sparkling, huge jewel appeared on the screen and Adrien looked at it in awe. Nino smirked at his friend's expression then scrolled down with his mouse.

"Twenty million dollar diamond in the new museum just a few miles from here." The dark haired boy stated, grabbed the frame of his glasses and squinting at the screen. "I'll print out the address."

"Great! Thanks, Nino." Adrien said, going toward his capsule to turn into his second identity.

"Claws Out!" The blonde yelled once he was locked inside the capsule.

A flash of green light came from inside the tube, temporarily blinding Nino and fogging his glasses. The door of the capsule swung open and thick fog flowed out. It slowly fade revealing, Chat Noir, one of Paris's most feared and wanted criminals.

"Do you have the address?" Chat asked, stepping out of the tube and moving over to his friend.

Nino nodded and grabbed the address for the museum. Chat Noir took it from his partner, walked toward the window, and flung it open. "Thanks." He said, before he lept out of the window.

The Chat raced on the rooftops and leaped across alleyways, feeling the breeze push against his face in satisfaction. This was always his favorite part about being Chat Noir.

Finally, he reached the roof of the museum which held the diamond. Chat Noir squinted through the glass roof and spotted the diamond, right in the center of the room on a tall pedestal.

He sprung down from the roof, landing on all four of his feet before getting back up on two. Creeping across the room, he was about to snatch the diamond when he spotted something.

Or someone.

A girl in pigtails stood before him. She had unusual blue hair in pigtails along with a skin-tight, spandex red costume with black dots. Right before him was his very own mortal enemy, Ladybug.

Ladybug gave the cat a smug look, "I wouldn't do that if I were you, Kitty."

Chat Noir wrinkled his nose in disgust at his new nickname from the masked girl. "And why is that?" He countered back, crossing his arms defensively as his tail lashed harshly.

Ladybug only pointed at the sensors  and video cameras plastered around the room, all focused directly on the diamond.

Chat Noir sighed, "So what's your plan?" He asked rudely but he was actually just wanting help.

"This," said Ladybug before she threw down a smoke grenade which exploded on the floor at impact.

Chat Noir began to cough madly and his vision began to blur, his heart twisting with fear. The feline criminal heard the alarms go off and he guessed Ladybug must have already grabbed the jewel.

The smoke began to fade, and Chat tried to spot Ladybug again but there was no sign of the spotted girl. Or the diamond.

Police lights flashed outside through a window and Chat Noir began to panick, rushing out of the museum before they could spot him.

"I'll get you for this, Ladybug, if it's the last thing I do!" Chat Noir vowed with a hiss.
