Miraculous Ladybug One Shots

Adrienette - Ladybug or Chat Noir?

Ms. Bustier had announced that today we would be able to dress up as Ladybug or Chat Noir. Marinette knew she wouldn't be able to dress up as Ladybug since she would probably recognized then so she decided to go as her partner, Chat Noir. She had ordered a Chat Noir pajama onesie from online, complete with a hood, fuzzy ears, and a long black tail. She had even separately bought a black necklace decorated with a large, gold bell.

Marinette strolled into the classroom calmly; she wasn't late for once, but what she saw in her home room surprised her.

Everyone was dressed up as Ladybug, even Adrien to Marinette's surprise. The blonde-haired model had a Ladybug pajama onesie that matched Marinette's Chat Noir onesie.

He turned to look at the bluenette with wide eyes, "Wow, Marinette! You look great." He complimented the blushing girl and strolled up to her.

"T-Thanks, Adrien," Marinette stammered. Why do I always have to act like I'm brainless around Adrien? She questioned herself, very annoyed with her own dumb actions, but she kept on a soft smile while looking at Adrien.

The blonde smiled at Marinette. "I'm surprised anyone came as Chat Noir," he admitted in a hushed tone. He felt very strange and awkward talking about his alter-ego as if he were a different person.

"Well why not?" Marinette asked as her eyebrows furrowed. She had always admired her feline partner and felt like she owed him ever since the Timebreaker incident.

"Well," Adrien paused and shrugged, "I guess everyone doesn't find him as heroic as Ladybug." The blonde's usual smile had been swapped with a deep frown.

Marinette felt a twinge of irritation and anger. "Chat Noir is just as heroic as Ladybug; they're partners." She formed both her hands into tightly clinched fists. Adrien was shocked by the petite girl's reaction; she was always so happy and cheerful.

"Well it doesn't seem that way. Everyone says Ladybug should just quit being partners with Chat Noir," Adrien informed. It was actually true. He had heard Chloe gossiping with Sabrina about it earlier; it had really hurt Adrien since Chloe was one of his closest friends.

Marinette shook her head in disbelief.
"Well who's Ladybug without her favorite Kitty?"
