I sighed in disappointment while shaking my head slowly, watching my sister Marinette drool over her rich crush, Adrien Agreste sitting in front of her beside his best friend, Nino. I rolled my blue eyes which matched Marinette's and gave a small, hearty chuckle. "You're hopeless." I whispered to her, making her jump (probably because I scared her or she was afraid had Adrien heard, but the blonde didn't even turn around.)
She whipped her head around to face me with a sour expression, "Shut up." She grumbled though gritted teeth, not meeting my eyes as pink dusted her cheeks. Then she brightened, "Just like you have a crush on Chat Noir!" She said, whisper-yelling.
I rolled my eyes, "Fair enough." Yes it's true. I have a crush on the flirty, pun-making feline. Of course, he has a crush on Ladybug, or well I guess I should say Marinette. Of course, she's clueless to his feelings... She always talks about how he probably flirts with every girl he lays his eyes on. Please! She doesn't know a crush when she sees one and apparently Adrien doesn't either because Marinette was now staring at him. Again.
The bell rang, causing students to get up, stretch (since the class was nearly two hours long), and gather their books. I was about to get up, but Adrien walked over to me before I could even get my books. "Hey, Ummm..." He said, nervously while blushing, having a hard time meeting my eyes while facing toward me. Nino, his best friend was behind him and couldn't stop smiling and snickering.
"Yeah, what's up?" I asked, running my fingers through my hair, turning my middle part into a side part.
He paused as if he had lost his train of thought, "Um, I was wondering... Do you want to go see a movie with me? Tomorrow, maybe?" He said it so quietly I nearly couldn't hear him.
Marinette heard and pouted.
I could feel Marinette's ears trained on our conversation, her eyes burning a hole through my chest. I opened my mouth but nothing came out. I can't turn on my sister plus I don't like Adrien, I like Chat Noir. So it would be like I'm betraying Marinette and Chat Noir... Even if he doesn't know."Sorry, Adrien, I can't. I have plans, but I'm sure Marinette would love to go with you." I gave him a light grin, grabbing my sister's arm and placing her between me and Adrien. I couldn't help but notice the blonde's disappointment and embarrassment in his expression. My sister's face on the other had was filled with a rainbow of emotions.
Suddenly the wall burst with a huge crash, making pieces and shards of the walls fly everywhere. My first instinct was to cover my head and duck which I did. I turned to see yet another akumitized villain. She had teased-hair which was colored like a flame. She had a skin-tight spandex costume with leaves, vines, and massive, detailed flowers on it. She was actually quite pretty, if you don't think about her being akumitized and all.
"I'm Poison Ivy, Where are Ladybug, Chat Noir, and Tigress?" She screeched; my sister and I gave each other a brief nod before running off like everyone else. Adrien wasn't far behind me. What is he up to?
I pushed that far from my thoughts when I nearly face-planted into a wall, thinking about it. I sprinted into the janitor's closet which was oddly unlocked. I zipped open the front pouch of my Tiger-like backpack, out flew my Kwamii, Sibi. He stretched his back (since it had been this morning when he had last been out) along with a cute, squeaky little yawn.
"You really need to let me out more often." He complains, groaning as he stretched his back.
I rolled my eyes, "Yeah, Yeah. I'll think of that next time." I said, a smirk tugging on the corners of my lips.
"Stripes on, Sibi!"
I proclaimed as I dangled my charm bracelet above me (wrapped around my wrist) as Sibi zipped into it. It had a tiny paw-print attached to the main part of the charm bracelet. It had silver outlining and orange with black stripes toward the middle. My skinny jeans and baseball top formed into a slick, skin-tight spandex suit with a white stomach and orange along the sides and back. Black stripes streaked across the suit like shooting stars. My baseball cap which I had on backwards was now replaced with two tiger ears. I got two white gloves with fake black claws on the tip of each finger. To finish off the magical look, Sibi added a long tiger tail and also a striped mask, white on the edges as it got more orange toward the center, stripes slanted down it.
I burst out of the janitor's closet to find Chat Noir and Ladybug already battling Poison Ivy. The room was deserted expect for us four. Everyone probably evacuated hours ago...
I requipped a katana out of thin air as I sprinted toward the battle, ready for anything. Poison Ivy saw me out of the corner of her sharp, green eyes while making vines and roots burst up from the concrete. They came flying toward me at rapid speed as I heard Ladybug. "Watch Out!" Her voice was filled with terror.
I ran my katana along the huge roots, slicing them in half as I ran toward the akumitzied villain. I forced my weapon off the roots and aimed at Poison Ivy, but she was ready and sent a huge flower to cushion my blow. It sent me flying backwards, who knew flowers were so power?
Ladybug flung her yoyo at Poison Ivy while her focus was on me, "The akuma is in her flower pin!" The spotted heroine informed her teammates. I see it now, she had a beautiful sunflower pin situated on her outfit. It looked really special, might have been passed down through generations.
I requipped my katana for a bow and fifty arrows. "Chat Noir!" He turned to face me after finishing off one of Poison Ivy's plants. I motioned toward Poison Ivy to say 'Distract her'. He gave me a brief nod and got down on all fours, charging at Poison Ivy. Now that she had turned all of her focus to the feline superhero, I fired an arrow at the pin and hit it exactly in the center of the flower.
"Time to De-Evilise!" Ladybug proclaimed, cleansing the akuma with her yoyo. The once black, dark akuma had now been replaced with an elegant-looking, white moth. "Bye, Bye Little Butterfly!" My sister gleamed with pride like she usually did. I don't know how she is always so positive. Maybe that's why Chat Noir likes her so much...
"You did a purr-fect job, M'Lady!" Chat Noir said, walking up behind her.
I rolled my eyes at the two of them. Man, why are crushes so complicated?! I sighed in frustration but I didn't notice Chat Noir had come up to me. "Hey, Tigress. You did an amazing job!" He said, his deep green eyes gleaming.
"Thanks." I replied, giving him my best smile. At least, I'm good at keeping my cool around my crush unlike someone I know.
"See you later," I said, waving to my sister and Chat Noir, running off toward the bakery.
Chat Noir gave me a grin, "I have to go too, See ya later." He gave me a quick, silly salute while giving Ladybug a grand bow. I had the urge to groan in frustration but bit my tongue. To be fair, Chat Noir has been acting suspicious. I think I'll follow him.
I ran after Chat Noir, both of us on all fours. He ran into a side alley, I looked down below into the alleyway from a high building.
Chat Noir de-transformed and guess who it was?
Adrien Agreste.
The guy my sister has a crush on and has been chasing for months...
