The spell started, the house had more bloody candles than the whole of Mystic Falls and I had butterflies building in my stomach. Hayley and Hope were involved and that scared me more than I would like to admit.
"Ready?" Bonnie asked, a table stood in the middle of the room with knife on it. Hayley stood beside me, her heart beating faster then usual.
"Yeah," she answered Bonnie, brave as always. My mother's coffin lay beside the table, closed. Bonnie had also made a circle with a sort of salt, I guessed, beside the coffin.
"Are you sure you can do this?" Damon whispered to Bonnie, he looked worst than me.
"I'll be fine."
I cut my palm then held the knife towards Hayley, a small sound escaped her mouth as she cut hers too.
Bonnie held out both her hands, and Hayley and I both placed ours in them, then she closed her eyes and started chanting. The magic was powerful, I felt it in my bones, it heated my veins and throbbed in my head.
Bonnie screamed her chants, gripping my hand tighter. I looked over at Hayley, who had a frightened look on her face. Since the spell was only to start my mother's blood flow and not technically bring her back to life, it didn't require as much power. We were able to do it, since it was a full moon. Bonnie's chants grew louder and a small tickle of blood ran down her nose, a circle formed around us, one that Damon tired to penetrate but failed. The noise outside, which mainly consist of Damon yelling at Bonnie to stop, became silent. Bonnie's eyes swung open, her pupils had turned a scary shade of white as she let out a loud scream, then Hayley followed. The sound of her scream paralyzed me.
"Bonnie! Stop! Your hurting her?" I screamed, I tried to get to Hayley by pulling away, but a knew circle formed around her. Bonnie let go of my hand, but not hers. She continued to chant and I flew out the circle.
"Do something!" Damon shouted at me. I ran towards the circle with a roar, only to be pushed back as hard as I tried to enter, a magic boundary was up. Hayley's scream grew and I tried again, only to have no success, then there was an eerie silence. Either Bonnie nor Hayley screamed, it felt as if the air itself had frozen.
"It's done," the witch said and they both fell to the ground.
