Twenty-Two: Klaus

We arrived at Mystic Falls on Sunday, at noon. Rebekah met us at the mansion where we stayed at during our visit.
Hayley stood in the lounge, where a meeting took place, her hand on her belly which was growing rather rapidly.
"How did this happen?" I asked Stephan in a livid tone.
"I told you Klaus, she just woke up, snapped all our necks and disappeared."
Bonnie marched in, her hair ruffed. She carried pages from a Gilmore.
"I've been studying the spell. I think she managed to channel the ground in which the vampires species was born in order to bring herself back to life."
"Well, how do we stop her?" I asked, vexed. We had my mother's blood to defeat her sister. Now, all we needed was to put an end to her.
"Klaus, it's not the simple," Caroline said. "Just listen to Bonnie."
"I think we can find her location, all we need is Hayley's blood."
"To hell with that!"
"Klaus," Hayley said, gently. "It's okay."
"Why can't you use my blood? Or for that matter, anyone of our blood," I motioned to my sibling.
"We tried that already," said Bonnie. "Ester's too powerful, she's blocking me out. I need a direct, living line."
"In case you've forgotten the last time I let you do a spell on Hayley, you almost killed her!"
"It's a simple location spell Klaus," Caroline said, annoyed.
"Stay out of this Caroline," I turned to Bonnie. "Find another way."
"I need some air," Hayley said.
"I'll come with you," Elijah offered.
She shook her head. "Alone."
I turned to Bonnie, my blood boiling. "Find another way."
"What other way Klaus? We have to track your mother so you can put her down. We need Hayley."
"Bonnie, Hayley carries my heart and soul in that belly of hers so she is off limits. In fact, I plan on taking her somewhere save once all of you have a lucrative plan. So, find another way."
"What if we don't tack her?" Elena suggested.
"And how will that benefit us?" Rebekah asked, as if the girl was stupid.
Elena gave her a look, the two rarely saw eye to eye. "What if we host a ball, luring her in? There must be something she wants, think about it. All of you in the same room. A perfect chance to end the vampire species."
"You're forgetting on thing," Damon said.
"What's that?" Elena asked.
"What if she succeeds?"
