"Let go of me, you backstabbing piece of shit!" I banged Tyler's back as hard as I could. Tyler had his grip around my waist tight, my strength being nothing compare to his. I knew we were going to the cabin before I saw the path to it. I knew exactly how this would turn out, and yet everything was so different. Klaus had to have known I was missing by now, since Tyler was moving with vamp speed. I screamed as loud as I could, hoping Klaus would hear me.
Tyler threw me into the cabin, hard. My body crashed into the wood, I wrapped my arm around my belly, protectively.
"Hayley!" I heard Klaus scream. Before I could scream back in response Tyler had his hand pressed against my semi open mouth.
"Tyler! Stop!" I tried to beg but the words came in rumbles. He was rougher with me this time, less patient. I assumed that was because he wasn't ready, he wasn't supposed to kidnap me this way and because Klaus was on his tail. He didn't have much time to test his theory, which he didn't need to test because I knew the answer.
"Shut up!" He told me roughly. He gagged my mouth with his free hand then he tied me to a table and paced around the room anxiously. I shook my head in an attempt to free my mouth. Eventually, the material fell to my neck.
"You do know Klaus is looking for me, right?"
"I figured." He continued pacing.
"What's the plan, Tyler? You can't beat him."
"Shut up, Hayley!"
"Tyler by you hurting my baby you're no better than Klaus. " Tyler looked as if he was fighting a battle within himself.
"Tyler, listen to me. Be better than him. The wolves that live in this area, they need your help. They are our people Tyler, we can't just abandon them!"
"Like how you abandoned me?" He asked. Tyler gripped the knife in his hand and slowly started approaching me, my heart leaped in my chest.
"Tyler, no, please," I cried.
"Tyler I was young and stupid, please don't do this to me," I begged, pulling on the rope that bound my hands together.
"I have no other choice. Klaus need to suffer! He needs to pay!" He screamed.
"Tyler, she is an inocent. She is just a baby."
"She?" He asked, confused. It was too early in my pregnancy for me to know the gender I realized.
"Tyler we can save the wolves, they need us. There are children out there trapped in their wolf form and we can do something about it." He stopped, I must have peaked his interest.
"They need our help, Tyler. You can save them. We can save them, you can go home safe and a hero. Klaus won't touch you I promise."
"What makes you think I'm afraid to die?" He asked.
"I think you're more afraid of not living. Do this for your people Tyler." I begged, mostly trying to stall.
He moved towards me, knife in hand, his eyes had no mercy. I closed my eyes waiting for my end. He still hadn't tested his theory like the last time. This time, he was alone. I heard a crashing sound and opened my eyes. Klaus stood at the frame of the open door, angry.
"That's no way to treat a lady, mate," he smirked at Tyler.
"Klaus," Tyler whispered.
Klaus moves were faster than Tyler's, he grabbed him by the neck and threw him out the door. Klaus followed, beyond my sight. I struggled to get the knife Tyler had dropped but it was too far. I stretched my hands until it hurt. I heard Tyler's cries as Klaus afflicated pain on him, however, I could not see a thing. Moments later, Elijah appeared through the door.
"Hayley," he sighed in relieve.
"Elijah, help me," I begged.
In the speed of light, he grabbed the knife and freed my wrist. Guilt boiled in my stomach, it was my fault Tyler felt this pain. I was the one who got his pack murdered. I ran out the door, witnessing the fight. Klaus had his hand in Tyler chest, holding Tyler's heart. The air smelt of blood and lake water.
"STOOOOPPPP!" I screamed.
