Okay, I knew a few things at this point.
1. Freya would wake soon, on her own.
2. When Freya awakes Davina would have enough power to bring back Kol.
3. Elijah has barely said a word to Klaus and despite the drama that surrounded us, this seemed to affect him the most.
4. My baby girl was safe and growing healthy
5. Klaus and I had daily arguments about my future, as in, whether I would become a hybrid or not.
The truth is, I craved the little things that being a wolf offered. Klaus had made me a moonlight ring years ago, however, it never truly gave me the same strength as an hybrid. I was easily killed, I knew that.
"Klaus, please," I begged. "I missed out on so much the first time Hope was born. I swear, I will turn when I'm ready."
"This isn't a debating matter Little Wolf, you will turn when our circumstances require you to do so."
I shook my head, growing annoyed. "This is my life and I will live it however I choose. I don't want to be a hybrid."
I look of pain flashed in Klaus's face.
"I hate the craving for blood," I whispered.
His eyes cleared, he face growing kinder. He embraced me, stroking me hair.
"I know," he said into it. "But Hope needs a mother, you dying is not an option and you are a very easy target."
Rebekah appeared then, giving us a look.
"Klaus, can I speak to Hayley please?"
Klaus nodded, gave me a kiss on the forehead and left.
"You have gotten yourself into quite a pickle, love."
"Uh?"
"It turns out, the wolves are growing fierce. We were only able to supply a few of them with rings and the others are growing impatient."
"Oh. Why couldn't Klaus be here for this?" I raised an eyebrow. I took a sip of water that lay on the nightstand as I sat on the bed.
"Because the wolves are demanding that you marry Jackson, to complete the bloodlines and merge the packs."
The water went flying out of my mouth.
"What?! No! I won't," I said firmly.
"You're their Queen Hayley, you're going to have to come up with something, soon. Before the wolves decide to find a new leader."
I looked at the ground. "Maybe they should."
Rebekah said beside me, patting my back.
"We need them love, Hope needs them."
At that moment we heard a crash, followed by a scream.
Rebekah ran first, faster, at the speed of light. As I ran closer I could hear.
"This has everything to do with Hayley," said Elijah.
"You knew how much she meant to me, but you just, you just had to ruin my life."
Then the scene came into my view. I stood outside, in the balcony looking down. The scene was a mess, things broken and shattered. Klaus and Elijah fought, clothes torn and bloody.
"I love her! And you didn't seem to mind stealing her from me the first time around! I hardly see how this is different," Klaus said, then threw a punch.
"Stop! Both of you," Rebekah screamed, moving between them with stretched arms. Elijah growled.
"I'm done here. I can't believe I stood by you for so long," Elijah said to Klaus, and disappeared. At the same time Davina entered with Freya.
She looked confused.
"I'll try and make her remember," said Davina. Klaus gave her a gratitude nod as Davina pulled Freya away.
Klaus crumbled to the ground, Rebekah grabbed him into a hug. She held him and I had the urge to do so.
I made my way to them but something grabbed me, then all I could see was darkness.
