I woke with a slight throb in my head, I could hear voices before I opened my eyes. Slowly, I peeled open each eye to reveal a worried Klaus.
"Hayley, love, are you okay?" He asked, grabbing my hand. I wanted to assure him that I was fine but my mouth felt dry.
"Water," I managed to say, he was gone before I could blink and returned even sooner, water in hand.
He helped me up and I drank slowly as he paced around the room.
"What happened?" I asked, my voice was rough, my muscles hurt.
"Bloody witches," he mumbled to himself and continued pacing. His phone rang then.
"Bloody hell," he cursed through the phone.
"We will be right there," he said then hand up.
"Klaus! What happened?" I asked more firmly this time.
"Get dressed, we are leaving!" He told me and left before I could object.

I met Klaus downstairs, he had the keys in his hand.
"Where are we going?"
"Back to New Orleans, love, don't worry, no one will know we're there."
"Why the hell are we going back there? I thought Marcel band you from stepping foot back on New Orleans soil."
"I will explain in the car," he walked outside and opened the car door for me. I hopped in and waited for him to get in the car before asking, "Klaus, why are we going back?"in a deadly tone.
"The wolves refuse to agree to my terms," he started the car and started reversing, putting his hand on the back of my seat and looking over his shoulder.
"What terms, Klaus?" I was livid, how could he not tell me about these "terms" and expect me to be okay with this, then a sudden thought entered my head.
"Where's your mother?"
"Mother dearest is tucked away with the Salvatore brothers, don't worry, we will come back for her once we done in New Orleans."
"Are you freakin serious? Why can't I wait here? I don't want to see the wolves after everything I put them through and I don't think it's fair that they fight for Hope when all I did was cause them pain." We were smoothly driving past the Mystic Falls welcome sign when he said.
"Firstly, yes, I am serious. Secondly, you have to come because until Hope and you are not in one body, I am not letting you out of my sight. I don't know if you noticed, Little Wolf, but you have a vexing habit of attracting trouble, and thirdly, you are their Queen. Of course, they will fight for your heir, she is their princess."
"Klaus, I destroyed families."
"Well, if we are being technically here, I did, so you have far less guilt on your hands."
"You don't feel guilty for anything you do."
He pushed the breaks, stopping the car in the middle on the empty road.
"Are you crazy?" I screamed in a panicked tone. He turned to face me, increasing my heartbeat.
"I felt guilty about what I did to you, I am sorry, Little Wolf," he took my hand and gave it a slight squeeze.
"Hey, families fight..."
"But they are still family," he finished with a smile.
