I returned from the bar to find the house silent, Rebekah sat on the couch, cross legged, with a bottle of scotch.
"Hayley's missing," Rebekah told me in a panicked tone. My heart froze at the words, my mind tried to wrap around it.
"What do you mean she is missing?!"
"I mean she was here and now she's not! At first I thought she went to look for you but I'm guessing by the absence of her presence, she didn't find you!"
"You let her come search for me on her own?" I trusted them with her, how could I have been so foolish?
"Of course not! She left in the night," I searched the room.
"Where's Elijah?" I asked.
"His gone looking for her."
"And why are you here? You were never the type to sit on the side lines."
"Well, I figured it would be best if you returned to see my face instead of Tyler's." I grabbed my jacket and headed for the door. I had a few ideas of where the Little Wolf could be but first I needed Marcel.
"I'm coming with you," Rebekah stood in my way.
"I'm going to see Marcel," I told her, but she already knew that.
"It's Hayley," she said. I knew the two were close, possibly like sisters so I let her come with me.

The drive was silent, the air filled with Rebekah's anxious nerves. She sat with her fingers playing on her lap like a scared child instead of the warrior she usually was. My thoughts kept wondering to Hayley, the most important person in my life. Or well the one who carries the most important person in my life. Hayley and Hope were a package deal, they were my family. The thought of them being harmed hurt my heart.
"Don't worry Nik, I'm sure we will find her soon," Rebekah tried to assure me, she tucked a few strands of air behind her ear.

We entered the house filled with vampires. Marcel had them fighting for some reason or the other.
I spotted him immediately. He stood taller than the rest, more confident. He also stood on the balcony, easy to spot. I caught Hayley's scent and grew livid. I moved faster then Rebekah could follow, gripping Marcel's neck and slamming him against the wall.
"WHERE IS SHE?"I screamed.
"Who?" He chocked with a chuckle, I pressed harder, cutting him of air.
"You know who," I whispered in his ear, her scent filled my nostrils again.
"Lee-le-lets..." he chocked, I loosened my grip so he could speak.
"Let's discuss this, like gentleman," he smirked.
I knew what that meant, he had her and if I killed him she would die too. I let go of him.
"Nik! What the hell do you think you're doing?" Rebekah argued besides me, she moved forward to grip Marcel but I stopped her.
"He will kill her," I whispered to her, she tenses besides me.
Marcel lead us to the dining room, where he and a few of his men sat. Once seated he asked, "Who is she?"
"A friend." I took a sip of the wine, Rebekah sat stubbornly, arms crossed.
"There is something different about this one, she heals but not like us, more like you. I would test my immortal theory but I figured I would give you a chance to explain since she continuously warned me that you would indeed kill me if anything happened to her, which by your reaction I have no doubt. However, as you know, wolves are not allowed in my city, especially pregnant ones."
"I don't care about your bloody rules, what I do care about is Hayley and her safe return!" I slammed my hands on the table.
"Easy now... what I'm still trying to figure out is why you, the original hybrid, would have any interest in a pregnant, bitchy werewolf."
"You better watch your tongue Marcel, before I rip it out of your mouth," I threaten.
"Marcel, you had your fun, now give us the girl back," Rebekah signed.
"Well any friend of Klaus's is a friend of mine," he smiled and nodded to one of his men.
Minutes later, Hayley entered the room, barely able of standing. Fear pumped through me as I listened for Hopes heartbeat. I heard the steady beat of my little girl's heart beating closely with Hayley's and let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.
"Hayley," Rebekah cried and ran towards her, arms open. Marcel's men blocked her way. One of them moved behind her and clenched her neck, lightly. My heart stopped.
"Marcel, enough of this! You made your point!" I spat.
"Tell me what's so important about the girl!"
"She's carrying his child," Rebekah whispered. Marcel laughed, then looked at out pale facing and realized the truth. He nodded at his man who released Hayley from his grip. I speeded towards her faster than the blink of an eye and gathered her in my arms before she fell. Rebekah moved in to block us from his men, we both knew we would win the fight easily, now that we had Hayley back.
"Hayley, love. Are you okay?" I tried getting a response from her, she didn't answer but she did nuzzle herself into my chest.
"Time to go home, Little Wolf."
