I AM GOING TO KILL KLAUS MIKAELSON!
"You had no right!" I screamed at Klaus, throwing my hands in the air.
"Of course I did, you're the mother of my child!" He scorned.
"This isn't about me, Klaus!"
"It's about the baby you carry, so yes, Hayley, it is about you."
"Jackson agreed to help us!"
"May I remind you the last time I let Jackson into this family, he ruin it!"
"Ruined it? You cursed me! Not Jackson!"
"I cursed you because of Jackson!"
I threw my hands in the air again.
"Do you even listen to yourself Klaus?" My voice sounded rough, my mouth was dry and my belly was getting huge.
Klaus had been stubborn and grumpy during our meeting with the wolves, the moment I mentions the marriage ritual, he stormed out, dragging me with him. The wolves only had the one chance to strike a deal before returning to their wolf forms for another month and here I was, arguing with Klaus.
"I have a great idea," Rebekah popped her head through the door, I raised an eyebrow at her.
"What?" She raised her shoulders, "Everyone in this house has vamp earring and I'm pretty sure even if we didn't, we would still hear you. Do the two of you ever stop fighting?"
"Your idea?" Klaus asked.
"Yes, my idea. Why don't the two of you get married? After all, you trust each other and as long as the wolves get to turn at will, who cares. It's better than Jackson coming into the family," she turned to me,"no offense love, but I don't know the guy."
"That's actually," I started to argue but realized, "not a bad idea."
"Are you kidding me?" Klaus stormed, turning to me, "you do realize you and I have to be man and wife, not just act like it!"
"That's a good point," I tilted my head to the side, thinking, "that's never going to work out."
"Klaus! Just let me marry Jackson," I begged.
"No!"
"What's your problem?"
"Hayley, in case you have forgotten, you almost died. More times than I can count in fact and I am not adding one more time onto that list," he put his hand under my ear on my neck, cradling my face, "Lucien had his hand in your heart and never before have I felt so helpless."
I looked into his blue eyes, it displayed the truth. He cared.
"Klaus, that was a long time ago."
"I said no, Little Wolf," he said and vamp speeded out of the room, something I wished I could do. I sat on my bed, thinking through everything. My heart longed for Jack, I loved him.
