My holiday was cut short when Caroline phoned me, begging for my help with the Klaus thing. Damon warned me that this would happen, but I gave in eventually. I knew Caroline cared for Klaus and despite her friendship with Hayley, I knew that her feelings towards him might be in a romantic manner. Now that Klaus is out of the picture, the two seem to be getting along, but how long until the hybrid ruins the friendship they built? Like he ruins everything else. My heart does soften when I think of Hope, growing up with only one parent is hard- I would know. I thought of my Grams. I would give anything to have her back in my life.

It's weird how that child, in which Klaus's blood flows, changed my perception on life. She was so soft, caring and loving. I remember her clearly growing up, in many ways she reminds me of the person Elena could have been if her parents hadn't died. She was adored by everyone, but something in her broke, and I know it's breaking in Hope day by day without her dad.

I was on my way home, Damon and I had a fight, so I was alone when my life changed forever.
The moment I stepped into the plane, I sensed power like no other. It amazed me that all super natural creatures couldn't feel it. At first I assumed there was a dark object on the plane, more ancient that Klaus himself. Yet, as I moved through the isles, trying to find it, I stopped.
It wasn't an object at all, it was a tiny girl. She looked about 16 years old, a little younger than Hope. She was beautiful, with grey eyes and brown skin. Her chin was stubborn, and her eyes focused on some intensive math. I glanced at the vacant seat beside her, she was at the window. I doubt anyone booked the middle seat, and even if they did- no harm in a little memory altering spell.
"Hi, I'm Bonnie," I introduced myself.
The girl looked up, then slid her earphones off.
"Hi, did you say something," she asked. I got a good look at her eyes, they were breathe taking and instantly reminded me of the calm ocean.
Weird. I thought.
"Hi, I'm Bonnie," I repeated, holding a hand out for her to shake it. I wanted to get a better sense of this magic she was practising.
I contemplated admitting I was a witch too, but the girl seemed young. What if she had a dark object on her and didn't know about magic at all?
I couldn't risk it.
"Hi, I'm Zemara," she smiled, a beautiful one.
I couldn't help but stare at the girl.
"That's some hectic maths you're doing there, I don't remember doing that in school."
She laughed, "that's because I'm not in school. I'm in university, studying to become a mechatronics engineer."
Impressive.
"Wait, how old are you?"
"I just turned twenty this January," she said, "listen, I've really got to finish this, but when I'm done maybe we can get to know each other."
She plugged her earphones back in and her attention returned to her books. Now that she was focusing on something else, I could focus on her.
Her breast were larger than the average fifteen year old and her hips were wider too. Perhaps they were subtle hits in her figure that displayed her age. However, she did look smaller than Hope. I'm sure anyone would tower over her.

Before we landed I got to know Zemara more, and she seemed astonished by travelling.
I still couldn't tell if she was a witch.
As we exited the plane a wind blew through our hair.
"It was really nice meeting you Bonnie," she smiled.
She was about to walk off when I grabbed her arm, "Zemara, Wait!"
I grabbed her arm a bit to tightly, and I felt the shock in her eyes.
"I'm sorry," I apologised, I didn't mean to grab you so hard.
"Bonnie, don't move," she whispered.
I was confused and the fear in her eyes made me freeze.
"He's coming," was all she said, then she went blank and fell to the ground.
