for my unproblematic friend, teasippertrinity

Trinity's eyes narrowed down into a glare when she found her boyfriend at the other end of the club, letting a girl flirt with him. If he told her she wasn't flirting with him, she would actually fight him.

She strutted over to her boyfriend and smoothly interlocked their hands together. "Hey babe!" In a swift move, she pulls him down to press their lips together. She turns back to the brunette her boyfriend had been talking to. "Who's this?"

The two grown women eyed each other up and down then met eyes, Trinity's lips stretching into the fakest smile.

"Oh, so this is your girlfriend," she grinned, eyeing Trinity up and down one more time. "I thought she'd be a bit less... revealing."

"And I thought you'd be a bit more modest," Trinity scoffed, moving closer to interlock their fingers together. "Like, be more classy and hit on someone who doesn't have a girlfriend?"

"He's probably just dating you as a pity project," she snorted. She flicked her hair behind her back and leaned all her weight on one leg. "Let's be real."

Trinity turned her head to her boyfriend then back at her, then to Wade, then her again. "A pity project doesn't last three long years, sweetie. But if we're talking pity projects, you should come by our place after your shift so that I can teach you the proper ethics of dressing up."

"After my shift? I don't work here."

"Oh, you dressed bad? On purpose? No, wait, sorry. Jokes aside, I actually thought you worked as a prostitute for the club."

Just as the girl was about to reply again, Wade tugged Trinity away from her sight. "It's nice meeting you!" He then dragged Trinity away.

They neared the exit when Wade finally decided to speak. "That was rude, Trinity!"

Trinity stopped dead in her tracks and stared at her boyfriend blankly. "You right, babe." She turned on her wheels and started walking away. She found the girl instantly. "I'm also sorry that you stuck with that ugly fac-"

Wade covered her mouth and pulled her away from the girl for the second time that night. He sent an apologetic grin and finally made their way out of the crowded room.

When they did get outside, Trinity harshly ripped her boyfriend's arms off of her body. "I wasn't done shutting her down yet!"

"Are you trying to get yourself punched?" Wade screamed back at her, reaching up to scratch his head out of frustration. "She looked like she was ready to scoop your eyeballs out of its sockets!"

"She insulted me first!" Trinity shrugged. "Why in the actual name of hell did you even allow her to flirt with you?"

"Sweetie, I know it's a rare word for you, but other people are actually this thing called 'nice'," Wade explained slowly, clearly not in the mood for his girlfriend's attitude. "And I was just telling her that I had a girlfriend when you came!"

"Use it in a sentence then find ten synonyms for me, will ya?" Trinity grinned, rolling her eyes. "Whatever, let's just go home."

She turns to walk back to where their car was parked when Wade whirls her back against him. "You always got an attitude, Trin."

"Maybe if you got your shit together, I wouldn't always have one."

"Maybe you should start trusting me."

"Whatchu talking about? I trust you."

"Yeah, with the guys, you do."

"Well, yeah, I don't see them tryin' to suck your dick when I'm not around."

"That's because they ain't tell you shit. They know you're always like this."

Trinity opened her mouth to whip back a remark but as his answer registered in her brain, she closed her mouth and stared blankly at Wade. Her nose scrunches up and her lips carve into a scowl. "Ya nasty."

He runs over to her and wraps his arms around her. "Stop getting an attitude and trust me!"

"I can't just stand there and watch all these girls try to steal my man!"

"You should sit because standing is tiring." He pulls away and grins down sheepishly at Trinity. Trinity is scowling up again at him, making him laugh.

"That's your last one for tonight, dude, I swear."

"Shut up, ya salty ass." He grabs both sides of her face and pressed their lips together for a brief moment. He pulls away and pinches her side, making her shove him away. "I'm funny!"

Trinity walked towards the car, shaking her head in embarrassment. "No, you're not."

He jogged to catch up to her, then presses a quick kiss on her forehead as he unlocks the car. "You love it, though."

"Unfortunately."
