Seandrea Sledge:
Before y'all say something, I'm just gone remind y'all that I ONLY PUT SHAYAA'S POV IN IF I NEED TO. NO QUESTIONS ASKED.

I wanted to ask more questions, but I didn't want to stress out Chy more than she already was. I ordered another shot of Chardonnay for myself and drank it.

Imani tapped my shoulder. I turned around. "What's wrong with Chy?" She whispered in my ear.

I made a texting motion with my hand and she nodded her head and walked back forwards Dej.

Chy nervous cause she think somebody out for Deja but don't tell Deja I said it.

I put my phone back into my bag and went back to consoling Chy. A dude tapped my shoulder.

"How you do--"

"I'm seeing somebody, back the fuck off." I snapped lowly. That's always what I said when thirsty niggas tried to approach me in the club. It always worked unless I saw the same nigga twice. Then I would have to extract the dickhead out the club. But that barely ever happened.

He put his hands up and walked away. Chy called a ride and left early and I slithered over to Dej and Imani.

"You look tipsy." Dej said.

"I am tipsy." I said.

"I brought a few blunts." Imani said.

"I'm good for now, I might get one in a minute." I said.

I danced a little bit, talked with a few chicks I met, one named Akira, the other one was named Mali or something like that.

Once we were about to leave, and I definitely knew I was drunk now, considering I was the only one who really drank anything. So because of that, Deja practically carried me out. "It's hot." I said out of the blue, even though it was cold as shit out.

"Imani we better hurry up and get her home before she do something stupid." Deja said.

I honestly hadn't even meant to get drunk anyway but, it would come back to me later.

Don't even guess what happened the next morning. You already know what happened.

After I had gotten rid of that, I laid down. I was half asleep when Shayaa called me. "Sha, it's been one week, three days and two hours. Not that I'm counting." I said.

I still had Shayaa's name saved as "😢💖" in my phone. I can't really remember why I typed in the sad face.

"You killing me, Dre. I miss seeing you." He said.

"It's called facetime, genius." I said.

"It's called I ain't seen your face in a long time." Shayaa said.

"Says the nigga with so called 'no heart'." I said.

"Young savage why you trapping so hard." Shayaa muttered.

"Why you niggas capping so hard." I continued.

"Oh, so you listen to me huh?" Shayaa said.

This nigga was incompetent, dumb and stupid at the same time or SOMETHING. "Nigga, if I know you, and I just finished the song after you, why the hell wouldn't I?" I said.

"Well, excuuuse me." Shayaa said.

"So whatchu doing?" I asked.

"On the phone. With you." Shayaa said.

Now I remember why I put that sad face. I sat back. "Please." Shayaa said.

"Nigga, stop nagging me. Give it a few more weeks." I said.

"We've been talking on the phone." Shayaa said.

"It's different when we in person." I said.

"You get soft when you around me." Shayaa said.

"So I've been told." I said.

Shayaa chuckled. "When the last time you talked to Symere?" He asked.

"Yesterday." I said.

Shayaa chuckled again. "Deja told me you got drunk last night and you wouldn't shut up. You was talking on and on, full paragraphs without stopping." Shayaa said, laughing even more as he said it.

"Forreal?" I said.

"She even put you on speaker phone and you was just talking and talking and talking." Shayaa said.

"I always get talkative when I get drunk. But then I get sick as a dog the next day." I said.

"You been playing hooky, cause you was sick?" Shayaa said.

"Yep." I said.

"You lil evil savage you." Shayaa said and I laughed.

"I know, I know." I said.

"Ple--"

"Okay, okay, the fuck. Two weeks that's it. If you can make it two weeks without nagging me, we can spend a whole day together if I don't have to work." I said.

"What's today?" Shayaa said.

"Wednesday." I said.

"You don't work on Wednesday's anyway." Shayaa said.

"Right." I said. I don't work on Sunday and Wednesday. Saturday I got off at 5 pm.

"Two more weeks. Two more weeks." Shayaa sang.

"Nagging means don't sing about how much time you got left." I said, rolling my eyes. I laughed at the mental image of Shayaa dancing around the house yelling "TWO MORE WEEKS!!"

Somebody knocked on the door. "Imma call you back, Shayaa." I said.

"Detective Harley Evans, I came to ask a few questions about the disappearance of Deja Trimble." The detective said.

I let her in and sat on the couch across from her. How could Deja disappear out of nowhere? Shayaa apparently had just recently talked to her.

"Where were you, Imani Diggs, and Chy (still not saying her full name) Trimble at 12:04 AM, last night?" The detective said.

"We were just leaving a club." I said.

"Do you remember the name?" Harley said.

"No." I said after a minute of thought.

"Okay, did you have any type of contact with Deja after you left the club?" Harley asked.

I honestly hated questioning. I've been questioned three times in my life. One when my sister pulled something stupid and went to jail and I had to bail her out, and I forgot what the other two were for. I have the shittiest memory.

"We were here and they hung out for like thirty minutes and then they left out around 1:30." I said.

Harley jotted it in her book. "Was Deja dealing with anything or person suspicious or in private?" Harley said. I felt like none of these questions were going to help anything.

"I don't know of any people but her cousin Chy (no, I didn't really say Chy) told me somebody might be looking for her." I said.

"Okay, that's all I needed, thank you." Harley said.

"No problem, Detective Evans." I said.

I locked the door behind her and collapsed on the couch.
