Doing a time jump to the middle of March . Happy reading . Also unpublishing NHF and LN, if you were reading it , my apologies .

There were nine days until my birthday. I would be twenty. Shayaa wouldn't tell me what he was getting me. He gave me some shitty hints and that was it. Chy was five months in. But Chy was small so it looked like she was about three. It was a girl that Chy was naming India apparently. And I thought she hated being named after a country (China).

I had dozed off on the couch watching TV when a rough knock came on the door. "Who is it?" I asked.

"Seandrea, open the door." Kehlani's mother called through the door. I rolled my eyes. Kehlani's mother was a personal pain in the ass to me.

I unlocked the door and yanked it open.

(imma just call her Ms Parrish for now, ion know her name at the moment)

"Hey Mama P." I said.

"Where is she?" Well damn, nice greeting, dragon lady *rolls eyes*.

"In the back room. Follow me." I said.

She followed me to the back and I knocked on the door. "Lani, Ms Parrish is here." I said.

Kehlani opened the door. "So you just came over here and got comfortable?" Ms Parrish spat.

"Yeah, and?" Kehlani said.

"I never told you to leave my house." Ms Parrish snapped.

"And I never got told that I had to stay in the house." Kehlani shot back.

"We aren't doing this, Ashley." Ms Parrish said.

"Ms Parrish, Kehlani is fine over here." I joined in.

"Be quiet."

Bitch.

"I only tried to help, you bitchy piece of shit." I muttered under my breath.

Ms Parrish turned to face me. "What?" I asked defensively.

"The only piece of shit around here is..."

Bitch, I fucking DOUBLE DOG DARE YOU to say you.

I will inform you that I am not a FUCKING piece of SHIT.

"You..."

I know this hoe did not...

"...and Kehlani."

"Please leave Ms Parrish." I said, teeth clenched.

"No." Ms Parrish said.

"It wasn't a question. I'm telling you to leave. The apartment, SEANDREA pays rent for, and the apartment SEANDREA pays the bills to keep running. Goodbye." I said with a dainty flick of my hand.

"Kehlani, come--"

"Nope. She's been here for over a year so you're overdue, chick. Bye bye." I said.

"You don't have the right to talk to me like that."

"Last time I checked, there's a law called freedom of speech. And I'm about to result to counting down."

"And that's supposed to--"

"You have the next ten seconds to get the fuck out of my house." I snapped.

"W--"

"Ten. Nine. Eight."

Ms Parrish stood there.

I pulled out my phone and dialed the police, ready to press the call button. "Seven. Six. Five."

She walked slowly down the hall. I held up my phone so she could see who I was about to called.
