Luce ran inside the park and hid behind the bushes. She kept silent as men in black ran passed the bushes she was currently hiding at.

"Hurry men!! My lady must be found quickly!!" One man who seemed to be the boss of the others ordered.

Luce clamped her hands on her mouth to prevent making a sound when she heard footsteps nearing her hiding spot. She closed her eyes, ready to be caught when....

"Hey! If you're looking for a woman, one just passed by me on my way here" someone voiced out.

"What did that woman look like, miss?" the boss asked, suspicion clearly evident.

"Hmmm....White dress, has a flower tattoo under one of her ey-"

"WHERE DID SHE GO?!"

"...That way."

Luce sighed in relief when he heard their footsteps faded away. She tensed when the same voice spoke again, "You can come out now"

Luce cautiously came out of her hiding spot and came face to face with a Japanese woman who was heavily pregnant. She had brown hair that reached her waist and fiery yet warm and kind amethyst eyes.

Luce smiled and nodded her head, "Thank you, I'm Luce"

The woman matched her smile, "Names, Kana. So, why were you running away from your guards?"

Luce look surprised, "How did you know?" she asked.

Kana just smiled, "You know, it's rude to answer a question with another question"

Luce was silent for a while before she laughed, "Hahaha!! You're very sharp, that man you were talking to before is Gamicho, my bodyguard, He's very protective and he didn't want me to roam around town by myself so I escaped. Unfortunately, he found me in front of the bakery nearby"

Kana blinked, "Oh...."

"KANA!!"

Both woman turned around at the newcomer. Luce's eyes widened at the sight of the man, 'Isn't that Ganauche of the Vongola? What is he doing here?' she glanced at the brunette, 'Is she part of the mafia?'

Ganauche finally reached Kana and gently grabbed her shoulders, "Kana! I told you to stay in the house!! You're on your 8th month, you should be in bed!!"

"Calm down, Ganauche. I just wanted some fresh air"

Ganauche sighed before noticing Luce, his eyes widened in alarm as he instinctively tugged Kana behind him, "Miss Luce?"

"Hello, Ganauche"

Kana looked confused, "You know her, Ganauche?"

Ganauche turned around and cupped Kana's face, said woman forced herself not to blush"Ganauche?"

"Kana, please listen to me. You go over there (points at a bench nearby) and wait for me, I need to talk to Miss Luce for a while"

Kana blinked, "uhhh....Sure.."

Ganauche and Luce watched Kana walk away before the former faced the latter, "Miss Luce, What are you doing here? And how do you know Kana?"

Luce looked at Ganauche's face, a cheeky smile made its way to her face, "Oh my, who would have thought..." she teased.
