Chapter 3

Giselle's pov
Bellamy is sitting near the dropship handcuffed and I'm sitting next to him.
"We're leaving." Finn said
"What? This is where they'll come back." Bellamy said
" I don't think they're coming back. The Grounders took them and you know that. Look- we go with Kane to Alpha Station, we get reinforcements, weapons, then we find our friends." Finn said
"One question. How many more of us will be dead by then?" Bellamy said
"Abby says Raven needs surgery or she's gonna die." Finn said.
"She tough Finn it'll be ok" I said.

"Dad come on. You've got to let Bellamy out" I said following him to where he had locked Bellamy up.
"You can't just go around hitting people Giselle" Kane said
"But dad murphy is a really bad guy. If it wasn't for Bellamy risking his life for me murphy would have killed me." I said
"Sweetie I can't play favourites any more I'm chancellor now" Kane said.
"Fine" I said pouting.
"Don't pout" dad said
"Yes chancellor" I said sarcastically.
"Open it up." Kane said talking to the guard who was guarding bellamy
"Yes, sir." He said opening the door.
"How long are you gonna keep me locked up in here?" Bellamy asked my dad
"Until I'm confident you're no longer a threat to others. Let's continue. Now you said there were hundreds of Grounders attacking. 200, 300?" Kane asked
"I didn't count." Bellamy said.
"300 I heard the grounder that had Finn say he lost 300. You could have just asked me dad" I said. Bellamy smiled at me. Dad rolled his eyes going back to question Bellamy.
"Why do you think they attacked? What provoked them?" Kane asked
"We were here. That was enough. We're wasting time. The others didn't just vanish into thin air. They were taken, and we need to go after them." Bellamy said
"Search team is prepping to leave but not before we've gotten the intel we need from you." Kane said
"I need to be on that team, please." Bellamy said
"That's out of the question. You're not trained. It's too dangerous" Kane said
"Dad" I said
"No Giselle" Kane said.
"Those are my people out there." Bellamy said
"They're my people, too. You want to help them? Tell me what we're up against... Grounder tactics, their numbers, what kind of weapons they used." Kane said
"Arrows and spears, axes, swords, their teeth." Bellamy said I giggled a little when he said teeth but stop when dad gave me a pointed look.
"No guns? You had guns." Kane said
"The guns we found at the aid depot leveled the playing field, and maybe, maybe if we'd had more bullets, we could have..." Bellamy said.
"There were more bullets. Search team just returned from the bunker. They found two more barrels full of rifles and a third filled with bullets." Kane said
"We should have looked harder." Bellamy said
"It's not your fault Bellamy." I said then the door opens. The guard walks in with murphy.
"What's he doing here?" Bellamy asked
"Excuse me, sir. Dr. Griffin cleared Mr. Murphy out of medical." The guard said
"Put him over there" Kane said pointing to a pole near Bellamy
"On your knees. Come on." The guard said to murphy.
"Well, this should be fun." Murphy said. We heard gunshots and dad and the guard took off. I walked over to Murphy and punched him in the face
"That's for getting Bellamy locked up" I punched him again
"That's for using me as a hostage" I said and punched him one last time
"And that's for Raven" I said moving away from him and over to Bellamy
"God your hot" Bellamy said to me. I kissed him on the lips.
"I'll be back I'm going to get you out of here" I said.
Clarke's pov
"Miller!" A boy said
"Look who finally got released." Jasper said.
"Hey." Millar said
"Miller. I'm glad you're ok." I said as alarm starts blaring.
"Hey. What's going on?" I asked maya
"That signal means the surface patrol is back and someone needs medical attention. I have to go to quarantine." Maya said I started following her
"Hey, Clarke. What are you doing?" Jasper asked
"Maybe they found survivors. If our people are hurt, we have a right to know." I said
"I'm pretty sure we shouldn't just go w... wandering around." Jasper says following me.
"What are we dealing with?" Maya asked as she entered the from
"They were attacked. One dead. He's in room two. The other took off his gloves and mask to treat him. He's still in decon, but he'll need treatment as soon as he's processed through" a man said
"Who attacked them?" I asked
"What are they doing here? Hey, stop! It's not safe!" The man said
"It is for us. Let's go, Jasper." I said
"Someone's got to keep her out of trouble." Jasper said as we enter the quarantine ward.
"Clarke, slow down! Stop pushing so hard. These people are..." Jasper said
"Are lying to us. That's a bullet wound. Grounders don't use guns." I said
"Unless the Grounders got the guns from us." Jasper said
"I don't think so. I think our people are alive out there." I said

Abby's pov
"How are you feeling?" I ask Raven
"Awesome." Raven said
"She's lying." Finn said
"I know that face. Just spit it out, Abby." Raven said
"The bullet is still shifting. That's why you're in pain. I was hoping that it would stabilize by now." I said
"So how about you take it out?" Raven said
"Raven, we need to talk about that. The bullet is pressing on your spine. If we leave it in, you'll live, but you'll never walk again." I said
"And take it out?" Raven asked
"The surgery could kill you. We have no equipment, we have no anesthesia." I said
"Will I walk again?" Raven asked
"Maybe, but you'd be awake the whole time. You'd feel everything." I said
"Sign me up." Raven said
"Wait. Raven, you could die." Finn said
"In Zero G I didn't need my legs. Down here, I do. Take it out." Raven said

Octavia's pov
I'm laying on the ground when all the sudden there man is standing over me.
"Where's Lincoln?" I asked
"Drink." The man says handing my something I drink some of it before pitting it out.
"Drink or die. Your choice. All of it." The man says.
