Chapter 32

Octavias POV
"Lincoln, be careful. It's not stable." I said
"They're down there." Lincoln said talking about people being trapped.
"Do you hear someone?" Abby said
'Abby. I'm sure Clarke's ok, we'll find her." I said
"Octavia! She's alive. Indra!" Lincoln said as he lifts up Indra and helps her.
"Put me down Reaper" Indra said. Indra stands up but is hit by the sniper and collapses once more.

Clarke's pov
Lexa and I are walking through the woods.
"The spotter. He aimed the missile, he's alone." I said
"Clarke, slow down. If he's a spotter he's here to make sure we're dead. If he tells the mountain we're alive" Lexa said
"He won't tell them." I said
'How can you be sure?" Less asked
"Because I'm gonna kill him."

Lincolns pov
"Lincoln, you must stop the bleeding." Nyko said
"Indra, let me help you." I said
" No." Indra said
"What do we do? No!" Octavia said as another man is hit by the sniper and killed.
"We're trapped." Octavia said
" I say we use the Skygirl to draw fire." Atohl said
"Got a problem?" I asked
"Yes, you are the bringers of death.' Atohl said

jaspers POV
"Jasper, where do you want this?" Miller asked
""Put it here. Over the weak spots to make sure they don't get in. We took the level but now we need to hold it. They will be coming and we need to be ready. Harper get some glasses from the kitchen fill them with water, big as you can find." I said
" let's go get those hallway cameras next." I said
'Nope, leave the hallway cameras. We need eyes out there." Monty said
" You can do that?" I asked
"Have you met me?" Monty asked smiling.
"Where are we on the doors?" I asked
"Meters are all disabled and short of the other stairway locks. This one's tricky, though." Monty said I slam the end of a bar into it
"That works too." Monty said
"How long you think we can hold them off?" I asked
"As long as we have to." Monty said.

lincolns POV
Abby is trying to get into the ruins to look for survivors. I grab Indra and carry her to a safer location
"Octavia, come on!" I said
"What're we gonna do we can't move." nyko said
"We move then shoot. Then sound the horn when it's done." I said
"Alright my friend." Nyko said
"I'm going with you." Octavia said
"No, Nyko needs you here." I said
"Are you sure you're up for this?" Octavia asked
"Get knocked down, get back up again." I said
"What can I do?" Octavia asked
"Pressure here!" Nyko said
"This is my village, You're the chief's second, save our people." Indra said to octavia
"We're pinned down and the other seconds won't follow me." Octavia said
"So make them!" Indra said

Jaspers POV
The 44 are in the mess hall gathering supplies.
"We're not ready for this!" Fox said
" Yes we are. Just follow the plan we'll be ok. I promise." I said
"Ok." fox said.
"You were right. That's because they can't kill us." Monty said
"Be careful with that thing, we're in close. It could hit one of us." Miller said
"Wait a second, some of them aren't wearing hazmat suits." Monty said as we saw the mount weather people.
"What's that mean?" Miller said
"It means they're cured. The marrow treatments worked." I said
"Get ready!" I said
"Give it up!" The guards say as they get the door open and reveal the barricade
"Take it down!" A guard said The guards enter and all of us are lying on the floor. One reaches his hand in a bucket and I stand up striking him with an ax. The rest of 44 attack
"NOW!" I shouted
"Retreat! Retreat!" Emerson said
"We did it! Seal the barricade!" I said . A scream is heard and Fox is seen being dragged away by guards.
"Jasper! You promised!" She yelled
"Fox! No! NO!" I yelled
"She'll be ok." Miller said Miller hugs me.
"I promised her." I said.

Abby's pov
I am digging through the ruins
"Hold on! I'm coming!" I said. I reach Kane
"Marcus." I said
"Abby. It's my leg." Kane said. I move to find a large beam on Kane's Leg.
"You're bleeding, how bad? Can you move your toes?" I asked
"Yeah." kane said
"Good, I don't think anything is broken. You're lucky. I'm gonna get you out of here." I said. I try to move the beam off Kane's leg but I am unsuccessful
"Not that lucky." Kane said. A girl whimpering is heard.
"That could be Clarke." Kane said
"I'm not leaving you here!" I said.

Fox's POV
I break free but as I get away a guard appears at the door pointing a gun at my face. I move and he fires shooting the two guards behind me. Then the guard reveals himself as Bellamy.
"Bellamy!" I said
"You ok?" Giselle asked appearing behind him. I nodded
"Come on, we gotta get her some place safe." Another girl says.
"Who's she?" I asked Giselle.
"Maya. She's helping us" Giselle said. Maya enters her residence to see her father asleep on the couch
"Dad, you're home." Maya said
"Yeah yeah, the drill bit broke again. What are they doing here?" He responded
"They're in trouble they just need some place safe to stay." Maya said
"They need to go now."
" Let me explain." Maya said
"I'll let you explain where you got that uniform. Maya, you know how dangerous this is, what are you doing?"
"What mom would have done." Maya said
" I need you to leave."
"Sorry, we can't do that." Bellamy said
"It's ok he's gonna help us." Maya said
"Really, cause I'm not getting that." Bellamy said
"Neither am I" giselle said
"My parents were part of a movement that was against using outsider blood. My mom refused the treatments and it killed her. She was willing to die for what she believed." Maya said
"Maya you were 5, I couldn't leave you alone." Her father said
"I'm not a little girl anymore." Maya said
"They're willing to kill you to get them. If you get caught-"
"We won't if you help us." Maya said
"Please, they're killing us. We don't have anywhere else to go." I said
"Just this once, just for one night.".
" Thank you." Bellamy said
"You know they'll never stop right? If the rumors are true and your bone marrow can get us back to the ground they'll never stop." Mayas father said.

clarkes POV
'It'll be light soon, we won't have the darkness to hide us." Lexa said
"Neither will he." I said
" I feel your anger, Clarke."
"Do me a favor, no more lessons."
"You need to focus, we do what we must to survive the enemy does the same. It's not personal."
"It is to me."
"You think that killing the shooter will make you feel better but it won't. The only thing that will do that is winning this war."
"That's enough."
"Is it him?" Lexa asked
"Clarke, Commander what- Octavia said you were both-" lincoln said
"You've seen Octavia?" I asked
"She survived the explosion to be pinned down by a sniper. That's why I'm here." Lincoln said
"Clarke, we need to get to the higher ground." Lexa said
