Chapter 41

Giselle's Pov
Raven and I catch Macallan stealing a bracelet.
"Not so fast" raven says
"I say we float him." I said jokingly
"Come on. What do you guys want for it?" Macallan said
"One song." Raven said
"Done." Macallan said. Raven and I chuckle at each other before turning to Macallan who just started to play the piano and sing. Abby enters the Mess Hall and approaches Raven and I
"You were right. I am spread too thin." Abby said
"I'm still not having the operation. Are you here as my chancellor? Or my doctor? Because I don't want to talk to one of you." Raven said
"I'm here as your friend." Abby said.
"Good. Now shut up and drink." Ravens said
"Hey don't you get my mum drunk" I said.
"Mum right. Never going to get over that" raven said causing me to laugh as Macallan sung. Jasper enters the Mess Hall with a crazy look in his eyes.
"These belong to people. So did that piano." Jasper said angrily
"Jasper! Jasper!" Raven tried to calm him
"A bunch of grave robbers!" Jasper said
"Jasper" I shout as he tackles Macallan
"Get off of him!" Raven shouted. A man restrains Jasper
"Enough!" Abby yells

Bellamy's pov
Monty is still driving the rover and halts it at the sight of a huge tree blocking their path
"We have to move it." Monty said
"Wait. It's been cut down." Indra said
"You don't know that." I said as I peer out of the rover raising my gun. A tree falls trapping us.
"We do now." Indra said

Third person
Clarke is exiting Niylah's trading post. Suddenly a man appears behind her and holds a knife to her throat
"Hello Wanheda" Roan said.

Bellamy's pov
It's now daylight and we're still trapped.
"It's been three hours. What are they waiting for?" I said
"Even with the light, I don't see anyone." Kane said
"I say we make a run for it." Monty said
"No. That's what they want us to do." Kane said
"The boy is right. They can wait longer than we can." Indra said
"Okay, Bellamy. You get in the turret and you cover us. Once we get to that ridge over there, we'll cover you." Kane said
"Copy that. Run fast." I said. I stand up in the turret. Naturally, before I can do anything, a masked figure has a knife to my neck.
"They're here." I said
"Everybody out or the boy dies." A man said
"Hey, hey, hey. Okay! Okay! We're coming out. Don't hurt him." Kane said. Kane opens the door and they're all promptly pinned down.
"All targets secure." A girl says
"Found it." A man said pulling something off monty
"It's mine. Give it back!" Monty said
"Monty, let it go!" I said
"Monty?" A person I now recognised as Hannah said.
"Mom?" Monty said
"I knew it." Hannah said as her and monty embrace in a hug.
"Farm station stand down." Pike says
"Pike?" Kane questions. Pike helps Kane off the ground and they bro-hug.
"You have no idea how good it is to see you." Pike said to Kane
"We didn't think you made it!" Kane said
"Lacroix, Smith, watch our six. Everyone else, I said stand down." Pike said.
"Where's Dad?" Monty asked his mum
"Your father didn't make it." Hannah said. Monty and his mom tearfully hug again.
"How many of you are there?" Kane asked
"Sixty-three. The rest are camped in the mountains north of here. Grounder killers one and all, am I right?" Pike said
"Hate to cut this short. We've got to find Clarke." I said
"Clarke Griffin? If only all of my earth skills students were as good as her." Pike said
"It's good to see you, sir." I said
"You too." Pike said
"Okay, move the tree." Kane said
"Help them." Pike said. As Monty and I shove the tree out of the way I speak to him
"You okay?" I ask
"I have to be." Monty said
