Chapter 15

Finns pov
"Stop, I'm sure they're fine. They had tents. So first you can't look at me, now you're looking at me like I'm the enemy." I said
"I'm not looking at you like that." Clarke said
"Well you're not looking at me the way you used to." I said. I stand up and walk towards her.
"I've been waiting for the right moment to give you this. I'm starting to think that moment might not come." I said taking out Clarke's father's watch and handing it to her.
"I know how much it means to you." I said
"Where did you get this?" Clarke asked
"It was around his neck." I said tilting my head towards the dead grounder in the bunker.

Monty's Pov
Jasper is trying to convince the rest of 47 to participate in the blood trials.
"Guys think about what they've done for us. They gave us shelter, clean clothes, kept us safe from the grounders. Miller, they saved your life, right?" Jasper said
"Dude, you puked for three days." Miller said
"That was different. The normal treatments wouldn't be as bad." Jasper said
"So they say." I said not really believing a word the people here say.
"So what then, only puking for one day? Yeah, I'm out." Miller said
"Sorry Jasper, I'm out too." Harper said
"Come on! They gave us cake! I got a sign-up sheet!" Jasper said
"What are you doing?" I asked
"What?" Jasper questioned
"When did you start working for them? You know what, nevermind. Now that you're better, we're going after Clarke. Of course, right on time." I said the last part noticing maya walking towards us.
"Hey guys. Jasper, I'm so glad to see you're feeling better." Maya said to us.
She holds up a notepad with the words "Act normal, they're listening!!!" written on it.
"Thanks, I am." Jasper says
She turns the page and it says. "The breach wasn't an accident follow me!"
"You look well rested." Jasper said
"Hey it's pizza day, who's hungry?" Maya said. Jasper and I follow Maya out of the dorm and enter the Harvest Chamber.
"We don't have much time but we can talk freely here." Maya said
'What the hell is going on?" jasper asked
"I'm sorry." Maya said
"About what? What do you mean it wasn't an accident?" Jasper asked again
"She means they exposed her to radiation on purpose. I'm betting it was to get you to agree to be her blood brother." I said. Maya nods.
"I knew it, Clarke was right." I said
"Monty, be quiet. " he said
"Did you know about this?" He asked maya
"No." She responded
"Why would they do that to you?" Jasper asked
"Because the standard treatment sucks compared to you."
"What's the standard treatment?" I asked
"Through there." She leads us to a grate where we can view inside the Harvest Chamber.
"Oh my god. Grounders." Jasper said
"Why would you show us this?" I asked
"Because I'm afraid." Maya said
"Of what?" Jasper asked
"That you're next." Maya said
"Who else knows about this?" Jasper asked
"Everyone, but nobody talks about it. We learn not to ask questions. Look without the treatments we'd die what are we supposed to do?" Maya said
"Die. We need to leave, Dante said we could leave, right?" I asked
"He was lying, he knew we'd be too scared to leave just like he'd knew I'd do what had to be done to save Maya." Jasper said
"So we don't ask. If Clarke got out, we can too." I said
"You'll never make it. Ever since Clarke disappeared security all around the mountain has been increased." Maya said
"We have to try!" I said
"We're not leaving, I won't leave the others behind. That means they end up in there." Jasper said
"What choice do we have?" I asked
"We volunteer." Jasper said

Ravens pov
"I've almost got it. They're using a type of audio modulation here like a feedback label. I just need to pinpoint the origin point then I can get the pure transmission. Just need to find the right..." I said as I got it.
."Has the veil lifted yet? Over." One of the mountain men said on the radio
"No sir still descended. Over." Said another
"The veil, they're talking about the fog. It's a weapon." Abby said
"Which means they attacked us." I said
"Sgt. Porter?" Abby said through the radio
"Yes ma'am."
"Build your bomb. When the fog lifts we take the tower down, copy?"
"I copy, ma'am."
I shake my head
"What's wrong?" Abby says to me
"We're listening to the enemy, blow the antenna and we won't be able to do that." I said
"Don't blow it and we won't make contact with any other Ark survivors and we need those reinforcements, Raven."
"Tough call. I know what Clarke would do." I said
