Chapter 21

Flashback to The Ark
An alarm blares as Finn and Raven struggled to open the airlock.
"Airlock pressure. Approaching red zone. " the women on the P.A. says.
"I can't open the inner door!" Finn said
"We must have blown a seal. The doors won't open until we're equalized!" Raven said
"Airlock pressure now critical." The Woman on the P.A said
"The door! Manual override. " raven said Finn hits the manual overide button allowing the inner doors to open and Raven to get out of the airlock. She takes of her helmet and breaths heavily.
"Emergency override authorized." The woman on the P.A said
"Unh. Shut the door. " raven said to Finn. Finn closes the inner doors.
"Are you ok? " Finn asked her
"Emergency support teams to airlock B-17 immediately. " the Woman on the P.A. Said
"We gotta get out of here. " Finn said
"It was a breach. The section doors are sealed. " raven said
"Take off the suit. Take it off and give it to me. " Finn said
"Finn, Finn, that breach lost a lot of oxygen. That plus an unauthorized spacewalk, it's a capital crime. " raven said
"I'm still 17. I'll go to the skybox for a couple months, then I'll get a review. " Finn said
"Review? " raven asked
"I'll have a chance. A good one. Raven, you're 18. You'll get floated. Take off the suit. Now!" Finn said The guards find Finn outside the airlock wearing Raven's spacesuit.
"There he is. " a guard said
"Am I gonna get in trouble for this?" Finn asked.

Finns pov
"They're not moving any closer. Why aren't they moving?" Giselle asked
"Staying out of range. Probably waiting until it's dark." Bellamy said grabbing her hand.
"If we hit them now, at least we'd take them by surprise." murphy said
"We don't even know how many of them are out there." Clarke said
"I'm not hearing any better ideas, Clarke." Murphy said
"We'll give them something. " raven suggested
"All they want is Finn." Bellamy said
"Finn wasn't the only one at the village." Raven said
"What are you talking about?" Clarke asked
"Raven, hold on." Bellamy said placing Giselle slightly behind him knowing that she was there as well.
"What?" Giselle asked with a frightened look on her face,
"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Raven, I came here to protect him. You were the one who wanted me to come. You... That's why you asked me to come along." Murphy said
"Enough Grounders saw him at the village. They'd believe he was the shooter." Raven said
"Sick bitch." Murphy said
"Raven, you don't mean this" Clarke said.
"You know what they do to people." Bellamy said
"They want a murderer, we'll give them one." Raven said. Raven raises her gun towards Murphy.
"Drop your gun." Raven said to murphy
"Go to hell, Raven." Murphy said
"Put it down, Raven. Like it or not, he's one of us." Clarke said
"I said drop it." Raven said
"Raven what are you doing? Murphy didn't kill those people and you know it" Giselle said. 
"Stop! Stop! We're not doing this. They've got us surrounded. The only thing we can do is stay. And defend this place. " I said
"I'm with you." Bellamy said
"Murphy?" I asked
"Yeah. " Murphy said
"Go upstairs. Watch the rear. I'll take the lower level. You three, take the front gate. That's the plan. All right? " I said
"Hey. We got this." Raven said and hugged me
"May we meet again." I said to her
"We will." Raven said. Then Giselle walks up and hugs me which is not what I expected to happen.
"What ever your about to do make sure your doing it for the right reason. I forgive you Finn. May we meet again." Giselle whispered in my ear.
"Look after Clarke for me" I whispered back before pulling away a she gave a small nod.
"May we meet again." I said to her
"Be careful." I said to Clarke
"You, too. See anything? " Clarke asked
"No. Someone's coming. There." Raven said. I step into the open and surrenders muself to the grounders.
"Finn? No. Finn!" Clarke said.

Flashback to The Ark
"Reyes!" Sinclair said
"Yes, sir. " raven responded
"How's that supply line coming?" Sinclair asked
"It's a piece of crap. Sir. But I'll get it working. " raven said
"No, you won't. I'm pulling you off duty. You got your Zero-G certification. Congratulations." Sinclair said
"But I failed the physical. " raven said
"Yeah, I saw your test scores. I overruled the rejection. You're in. Now, get moving." Sinclair said

Giselle's pov
The citizens of Camp Jaha are standing near the gate. In the distance a post can be seen.
"What is that?" Raven asked
"It's for Finn. They want us to watch." Clarke said
"They're sick" I muttered next to bellamy.
"We're gonna get him. We'll get in close and we'll hit them hard. " Bellamy said
"Son... there's thousands of them. Even if we could kill hundreds, they'd still wipe out this camp and your friend would still die." Dad said. I like him calling bellamy son, maybe one day we'll get married and he really will be dads son. Omg what am I thinking. Finns about to die. Get you head in the game Giselle.
"We have to try." Bellamy said
"Abby. Abby, we have to do something." Raven said
"No, Raven." Abby said
"I'm gonna talk to the commander." Clarke said
"What else do you have to say?" Bellamy asked
"I don't know. I don't know." Clarke said
"Clarke." Bellamy said
"Give me your hand. If she won't let him go, kill her. Things'll go crazy, and we'll grab you and Finn. Clarke. You have to help him. I owe him my life." raven said Raven hands her a small knife. I go up to Clarke and hug her
"Do what you think is right." I said to Clarke. She nods and steps outside the gate.
"Clarke. What is she doing?" Abby asked me.
"What she has to" I said. Abby moves to try and stop Clarke but Kane stops her.
"Wait. Abby. Gotta let her try." Dad said
"Mum she'll be fine" I said to Abby

Clarkes pov
I walk up towards the Commander's tent. Indra stops me  holding a spear to my chest.
"I'm here to talk to your commander. Let me through. "I said with the spear cutting my chest
"Let her pass. You bleed for nothing. You cannot stop this."  Lexa said
"No. Only you can. Show my people how powerful you are. Show them you can be merciful. Show them you're not a savage. " I said
"We are what we are. " lexa said
"Then I'm a killer. I burned 300 of your people. I slit a man's throat and watched him die. I'm soaked in Grounder blood. Take me." I said
"But Finn is guilty." Lexa said
"No. He did it for me. He did it for me." I said
"Then he dies for you."
"Can I say good-bye?" I asked lexa nods.

Third person
"What is she doing?" Raven asked seeing Clarke run towards Finn and kisses him one last time.
"I love you, too." Clarke said
"I'm scared." Finn said
"You're gonna be ok." Clarke said. Clarke embraces him.
"You're ok." Clarke said stabbing Finn in the stomach.
"Thanks, princess." Finn mumbles. Clarke steps away from Finn. His head falls onto his chest. Clarke's hand are seen to be covered in blood revealing she mercy killed him. The grounders prepare to attack her.
"It is done." Lexa shouts stopping them
"No! No! No! No! No! No!" Raven screams. Bellamy holds onto Raven who continues to scream as Clarke looks at her bloody hands. Giselle moves into her fathers side crying and her father comforts her. Everyone else just stares in shock.
