Chapter 5

Octavia's pov
"Looks like you'll have to kill me." Nyko said, but then Lincoln appeared
"Lincoln. He's hurt!" I said
"He should be dead." The woman said
"Reapers!"'Lincoln yelled
"Lincoln." I yelled over the chaos the reapers were causing
"Octavia! Octavia!" Lincoln yelled
"Lincoln." I yelled back
"Octavia!" Lincoln yelled once last time before being captured by the reapers and taken.
Giselle's pov
"You don't think anyone saw us?" Bellamy asked as we walked
"Shh. Keep it down." Finn said rounding the corner
"You're late." Abby said
"Bellamy decided to bring company." Finn said
"He's the only person that's been in their camp." Bellamy replied
"Here. Find my son. His name is Nathan Miller." David miller said as Abby hands us guns.
"Bring them home." Abby said
"Your mums helping us?" Bellamy asked me in a whisper
"I asked for help" I whispered back
Clarke's pov
I awake in Medical and watches Dr. Tsing enter a room.
"Langston. Langston. What are they doing to you?" I ask him but he's knocked out. I follow the tubing that is connected to him and enter a room. I can see Grounders in cages being hung and drained for their blood everywhere.
"Anya?" I asked seeing a grounder I recognised
"I'm gonna get you out of here." I said to her. I search the Harvest chamber and find a bar I can use as a crowbar to pry the lock open. I successfully break the lock freeing Anya however, I soon notice Dr. Tsing entering
"Get back in!" I say shoving Anya in the cage and getting in it myself. Dr. Tsing makes her way towards the cages and all the Grounder prisoners reach their arms out. Dr. Tsing turns back and exits the Harvest Chamber
"We've gotta go, now!"I said swinging open the cage freeing myself and Anya. We enter a room and an alarm sounds.
"What is that?" Anya asks Both Of us are suddenly thrown down the trash chute and we realise they are lying upon a mass of dead bodies
"Anya, take my hand!" I said she takes my hand and we leap out of the cart
"We're out. Hey come on, get dressed. We won't cover any ground like this." I said
"I won't leave my people behind." Anya said
"Anya listen to me, my people are still inside there. But they have guards they have weapons once we're out we can find help and come back and get them." I said
"There is no "we". Someone's coming." Anya said we listened to the sound
"Not just someone, Reapers." I said Anna went to fight them I pulled her back
"Hey, Anya, you can't fight you can hardly stand. I have a better idea come on." I said we both jump into a cart pretending to be dead. More bodies are thrown into the cart and that cart is wheeled away.
Kane's pov
"Prisoners were last seen at lights out so they must have left sometime in the past 6 hours. Safe to say they headed for their dropship. But we'll put Davis on the search team just to be safe, he taught Earth Skills time to get some practical." Major Byrne said
"We're not sending out a search team. That would put even more lives at risk. I'm more worried about finding the people who helped them." I said as Abby enters
"You wanted to see me." Abby asked
"Thank you, Major." I said causing Major Byrne to leave
"Tell me it wasn't you.On the Ark, you did anything you wanted without a second thought about the consequences" I said
"So did you. Giselle is prof of that. On the Ark, I did what I needed to do and I was right. Just like now." Abby said
"Letting prisoners go, arming them, those are serious crimes, Abby. As Chancellor, you can't just expect me to-" I said but got cut off by Abby
"You weren't elected Chancellor Marcus, you only got the job because Thelonious beat you to redemption." Abby said.
Giselle's pov
Bellamy, Murphy, Sterling, Monroe, Finn and I are walking through the woods
"Alright Murphy, where to now?" Bellamy asked with his arm securely around my waist obviously not trusting murphy.
"I say we lose these first alright?" Murphy says talking about his restraints
"No." Bellamy said
"Hey if we get attacked out here I have nothing to defend myself" Murphy said
"I don't care." Bellamy says then Finn undoes Murphy's handcuffs and Bellamy pulls me closer to him.
"Thank you." Murphy says to Finn
"Hey what the hell are you doing?" Bellamy asked
"It was your idea to bring him." Finn said
"Yeah because he's the only one who's seen where the Grounders keep their prisoners." Bellamy said
"Not so he could go for a nice walk in the woods" I said
" We probably shouldn't let him be defenseless out here. We can handle Murphy." Finn said
"Better hope so." Bellamy said
"So do I get a gun now?" Murphy asks Bellamy shoves Murphy ahead
"You can get a bullet through you brain" I said
Maya's pov
Im leading Jasper into the Art Warehouse
"I'm gonna open my eyes now." Jasper
"No! No peeking!" I said
"Ok ok, where are you taking me anyway?" Jasper asked
"Does the concept of surprise mean something different in space?" I asked
"Then you should know I don't like surprises. I hate them actually." Jasper said
"Well trust me you're gonna like this one. Open. " I said Jasper opens his eyes and marvels in the beauty of the Art Warehouse
"Um, this one's my favorite. Wallace goes for landscapes and impressionists but my taste runs a little darker." I said pulling out a painting
"Beautiful isn't it?" I asked
"Yeah it is." He responded
"I don't know why they keep it all locked up down here, it's pretty cool." Jasper said we lean in to kiss but are broken apart by the sound of guards entering
"Come on!" I said running down the hallway
"Hey you think we lost them?" Jasper asked
"I don't think anyone was ever chasing us." I said
"Jasper. Have you seen Clarke? Nobody has." Monty said walking up to us.
"Hey." He said once he realised I was there.
"Hey. You guys should uh-" I said but got cut off.
"No no, we're gonna have breakfast. I'll meet you in line." Jasper said I smile and waves before leaving but not before hearing Monty say
"I've got a bad feeling."
Clarke's pov
Anya and I are still lying in the cart of bodies. The cart stops and the reapers haul out a few bodies
"Come on." I say Starting to leave before I noticed any a not following
"Anya what are you doing, let's go." I said
"Yu gonplei ste odon." Anya says stabbing a half dead grounder
Giselles pov
Murphy, Bellamy, Finn, Sterling, Monroe and I are still walking through the woods
"Everybody down! Now! This is it. Told you I'd find it" Murphy says as everyone Ducks down. Bellamy aims his gun
"I see nothing but Grounders." Bellamy said
"Our people aren't here." Bellamy said
"Wait a minute, they've got stuff from our dropship." Finn said
"Maybe they know where our friends are." Bellamy said
"Yeah or maybe they killed them already." Murphy said
"Don't say that" I said
"Son of a bitch." Finn spoke
"What about it?" Bellamy asked
"The guy with the one eye. Around his neck." Finn said
"What am I looking at?" Bellamy asked
"He's got Clarke's watch. It was her father's." Finn said
"She wouldn't give that up without a fight." Bellamy said
"Neither will we." Finn said
"Ok you're with me. You two stay here. This thing goes south take out the other grounders but don't shoot the grounder with the watch. Copy?" Bellamy said pointing to Finn first then sterling and Monroe.
"Copy." Sterling said
"Copy. And what about Murphy and Giselle?" Monroe asked
"Yeah what about murphy and Giselle?" I repeated
"Yeah do I get a gun now?" Murphy asked
"Something like that." Bellamy said. Behind a tree, Murphy is baiting the Grounder with the watch. The Grounder approaches the tree and is knocked out by Bellamy. Finn retrieves the watch
"We need to take him somewhere quiet." Bellamy said
"I know just the place." Finn said in a voice I couldn't place before storming off
"Am I the only one he's scaring?" I asked Bellamy
"Don't worry about him. Once we find Clarke everything will be fine" Bellamy replied kissing my temple.
