Chapter 13

Giselle's pov
"I told you, we don't have your people." Nyko said
"Stop talking. Find something? Finn! Finn, answer me! Are you all right?" Murphy said
"We shouldn't be here Murphy" I said hopefully loud enough for Finn to here. One of the grounders tries to get up.
"Hey, on your knees! On your knees, now! On your knees!" Murphy said pointing his gun at the grounder. Finn walks into our view fast.
"Finn! Slow down." I said
"What have you done with them?" Yelled at the grounder
"Hey, Finn, Finn! Come on!" Murphy said
"Their clothes are here! They were here!" Finn yelled
"Finn!stop this! Let's go!" Finn I yelled trying to get him to calm down and leave.
"You killed them!" Finn shouted at the grounders
"Your friends were not here. I saw one, Octavia. She was alone." Nyko said
"These people are scavengers, Finn. They could've just found that stuff. Hey, Finn, stop! Stop! Look at me." Murphy said grabbing Finn obviously realising how crazy Finn was acting.
"Get off me!" Finn said
"Finn, don't do this. Let's just walk out of here while we still can, ok?" Murphy said.
"Finn. Please. We need to leave. If you hurt anyone I'll never forgive you. Your acting  fucking crazy!" I said yelling the last part.

Bellamy's Pov
Octavia, Clarke, and I are walking through the woods towards the village.
"This is it. Which way to the village? O?" I asked
"The reapers came from there. I couldn't save him, Bell. I couldn't save him." Octavia said. I pulled her into a hug.

Cages pov
I press the button on A tone generator, Lincoln flinches at the noise.
"Phase one's complete. Start phase two. One dose." I said
Another reaper is brought into the room as I drop a dosage of the red drug on the floor.
"Who wants it more?" I said knowing they'd fight over it.
I leave closing the door behind me. And watch them on the monitor. Lincoln and the other reaper immediately charge towards each other. Lincoln knocks the other reaper down and kills him before grabbing the dosage and injecting himself.

Maya's pov
I awake in a hospital bed in the quarantine ward.
"Welcome back." Dr. Tsing said
"What happened?" I asked
"Containment breach in the dorm. No one's ever been as sick as you and come back. How do you feel?" Dr. Tsing asked
"I feel... great. How is that possible?" I asked
"Jasper saved your life, Maya." Dr. Tsing said
"Hey..." Jasper said.
"Can we speak with you outside, please?" Cage said to Dr. Tsing.
"I told you you were brave." I said to jasper.

Dantes pov
Dr. Tsing exits quarantine to meet with Cage and I
"It was an emergency. We couldn't reach you in time." Dr. Tsing said
"You expect us to believe that?" Cage said
"How is the patient?" I asked
"Her recovery is miraculous." Dr. Tsing said
"I was referring to Jasper." I said
"He'll recover, as I assured you he would." Dr. Tsing said
"That's not the point. You disobeyed a direct order from the president not to experiment on those kids." Cage said
"Mr. President, why bring them here if not to use them?" Dr. Tsing said
"That's none of your concern." Cage said
"Shouldn't you be in the dungeon with your monsters?" Dr. Tsing said
"They're not monsters. They are soldiers. And the reason why you get to play doctor in your ivory tower." Cage said
"That's enough. Both of you. We all have jobs to do. Mine is to be obeyed." I said
"Yes, sir. Can I just say... the first human trial was a success. After what we saw tonight, in my opinion, we have no choice but to move ahead with the forty-seven." Dr. Tsing said
"That'll be all, Dr. Tsing." I said Dr. Tsing leaves.
"Tell me about the radiation leak." I said to cage
"The air filtration system malfunctioned, but the containment system worked." Cage said
"Malfunctioned?" I asked
"I'll look into it. Now go paint, dad. I'm your head of security. I'll clean this up. You have a big decision to make." Cage said
"What would you do?" I asked
"Me? I'd use them." Cage said
"Just like that?" I said
"Our people come first, right?" Cage said
