REQUEST- Powers Part 1

first request story for jubie1234 , i did change the powers ever so slightly but they are basically the same. hope you like it

I was terrified, HYDRA had found me again. I was running through the streets of New York trying to outrun the agents that were trying to re-capture me. yes re-capture. many people know of the twin, Wanda and Pietro, and think of them as the only survivors of strucker's experiments but that's wrong. I was the first success, but using the powers they had given me I was able to escape. These powers at first terrified me, and still do to a certain extent meaning I only use them if I have to. The ability I had been given was to be able to transform into any creature I want, I only had limited control over them and could turn into anything if I let my emotions get too wild or not be able to at all. This was currently happening, in my hurry to escape the agents it would be great if I could turn into a bird or something so I could escape but I couldn't focus enough to transform. I looked back over my shoulder to see the agents advancing, the next thing I know is that I've hit something hard and muscular. I fall to the ground at the impact and panic that it's one of them, I look up to see a concerned face. "oh gosh are you okay ma'am?" the blond stranger asks helping me up, his bright blue eyes full of worry. I can only nod, I look behind me and again and see the agents only slightly behind and I take of down the street again "hey wait! Why are you running?" the man yells after me. the agents barge pass him and then he realises straight away.

I had run into an alley in the hope of escaping but it turned out to be a dead end, I hid in the corner hoping they wouldn't see me. "we know you're here so you may as well come out" one of the agents snarls, I try and focus my mind so I could escape but nothing happens. My breaths pick up the pass as I suddenly hear loud thuds and groaning, "ma'am it's okay you don't need to hide from me, I'm here to help you" I hear a voice say slowly approaching my hiding spot. The man from earlier appears into my view holding his hands out to calm me "hey its okay, are you hurt" he says getting closer. I panic even more not knowing whether I could trust the man, finally my powers seem to want to work and I'm able to transform into a bird and fly away leaving the man shocked.

That had all happened six months ago, currently I was sat in my small apartment watching another news story about me. although the news didn't actually know it was me, just a stray dog that pulled someone from a burning building. If you ever heard of something like that it was more than likely me. it was nice doing something good and not have to be worried that HYDRA would notice. It was late in the afternoon and I was in the middle of cooking myself something to eat when someone knocked on my door. I open it to find the man who I had run into 6 months ago, I panic and slam the door closed but he sticks his foot in the way "whoa! Hey look I'm here to help you" he says trying to open the door. I continue to try and push the door shut "yeah right! You're just saying that so I let my guard down" I say trying to kick his foot out of the way "trust me I'm not I hate HYDRA just as much as you do" he reasons. I stop trying to close the door and instead try and open it some more "who are you?" I ask, the guys steps into my apartment "rogers, Steve rogers" he says holding out his hand. I take his hand and shake "captain America?" I ask looking up at him, he nods his head "yeah, and I do want to help you" he smiles "what you name?" he asks. "(Y/F/N)" I say introducing myself "how could you help me?" I say moving into the kitchen to take my dinner out of the oven before it burnt "by helping you train and learn to use your powers" he says following me into the kitchen "and we can protect you against HYDRA" he adds. I place my dinner down and turn to face him "we?" I ask, he nods "yeah, me and the team, which speaking of kinda want to meet you, so if you want I'll come by tomorrow and take you to the tower where you can meet everyone" he says hopefully. I ponder this for a few moments taking a deep breathe before I answer "okay, I guess I'll see you tomorrow" I agree, Steve smiles "great, I'll see you tomorrow"

"whoa capsicle brought a girl home!" tony exclaims when me and Steve enter the communal floor, "shut up stark this is (Y/N), the girl I told you about" Steve says back glaring slightly. "you mean the one that can turn into different animals?" tony asks walking closer "can you show me?" he asks turning to me. I shake my head "I don't always have control over it" I tell him taking a slight step back, I then see the two twins enter the room "guys this is (Y/N)" Steve introduces. Pietro walks over "so you're the one who got away, strucker always went on about you" he tells me, "and you're the only other successes" I say, I look over at wanda and see her looking straight at me "you're scared" she says. I don't answer "you don't need to be, these guys are the good ones" she reassures me smiling. A purple guys then materialises into the room through a wall "and this is vison, his stone is what gave us our powers if you didn't already know that" she tells me pointing to his mind stone, I nod "I didn't know that, I just knew enough to know I had to get out of there" I say, wanda smiles at me sympathetically "I'm glad you did, I'm more than happy to help you train and get used to your powers" she tells me. "yes I heard you powers where quite remarkable" visons adds "I think you would be an excellent addiction to the team"
