(Y/N)'s POV

"I would say that was pretty successful" Steve says as we trek through the forest, "successful, I don't think it could have gone anymore wrong, our covers were blown we got chased out of the country quite literally and now we're in the middle of nowhere trying to find a way to contact the team" I say as I push branches out of my way, Steve having to catch them as they flew back into him. "I still got this though" Steve smirks holding up a hard-drive, "seriously you waited until now to tell me we actually got the intel" I say turning around to face him, "well you said it pretty well we were pretty occupied" he smirks. "you're an idiot" I laugh hitting his arm, "you still love me though" he smirks, "of course, and since we very nearly died I think you owe me something" I smirk up at him. He smiles down at me "of course now come here" he smiles leaning down and kissing me, once we part I notice Steve's smile falter "get down" he hisses pushing me and himself down to the floor hidden by the bushes. "what is it?" I ask trying to see what he saw, "a hydra agent" he says pointing him out, "do you think they followed us?" I ask. he shakes his head "no we're too far away from the border, we must of accidentally stumbled upon it" he says, suddenly an idea pops into my head "Steve this is how we get home" I say, he looks at me confused for a moment before realising what I meant. "(Y/N) no, we can't take out an entire base on our own" he says, "sure we can, look its only a small one there can't be more than what 50 agents, we've dealt with more than that on our own" I tell her. He looks over at the base unsure "I don't know (Y/N)" he sighs, "look this is our best way of contacting the team, we take out the base get some more intel and use their communications to send a message to the team" I explain "its either this of spend god knows how long sleeping in the woods, and I didn't pack provisions literally just my weapons" I add. Steve sighs shaking his head "okay we better plan this then" he sighs, "good well from what I can see there are only two entrances, one of each side going by the guards I can see" I say pointing it out to him. "which one do you want to go for left or right" Steve asks, "both, attack from both side split the fight, meet in the middle it will make it easier" I say. "okay but stay on comms as soon as you even think you may be getting overwhelmed shout for help, don't be a hero" Steve tell me, "that goes for you too" I smirk. "go in guns blazing or sneaky?" I ask, "silent as possible, take out as many as possible before the others get alerted makes the fight easier" Steve says. "without schematics I think that's as much as we can plan" I sigh, "well lets go then the sooner this is done the better" Steve says, "lets do this, see you in a few" I say quietly getting up "stay safe" Steve says, "you two" I smile reaching up to kiss him quickly. I crept up to my entrance taking note of how many guards there were "okay lets do this" I mutter to myself before I silently take out the guards. I run over to the door slipping into the base, I was working my way through the base taking out everyone I crossed. Suddenly the alarms go off and a wave of agents appeared, once I had taken them out I heard Steve over the comms "(Y/N) they've set a bomb get out now" he shouts. I turn and run out the way I came, I just got out when the bomb went off and I get thrown into the woods hitting my head on something instantly knocking me out.

When I woke up my head instantly hurt, I also had no clue where I was. I look around and see just trees far as the eye could see, I couldn't remember how I got here or why I was here alone. I slowly get up checking myself for injuries which seemingly I had none, I start to walk off but stop when my head wouldn't allow it. I sit down on a rock hoping the spinning sensation would stop, I then hear twigs crack as someone approached. I instantly reached of my gun holding up to whoever it was, a man dressed in red white and blue appears "who are you?" I order not lowering my gun, "I could ask you the same thing" he says taking a defensive stance. "are you with hydra?" I ask him, he shakes his head "no and I'm guessing from that look you don't like them either" he says. I pause for a moment "look I don't know how I got here, and I don't really know how to get home from here, so why don't we work together seeing we seem to be in the same situation" he says, I lower my gun slowly "and you can trust me because I'm pretty sure if I did go against you, you could easily kill me" he continues. "well you got that right, my name's (Y/N)" I say putting my gun away and holding out my hands, the man smiles shaking my head "Steve, its getting late we should probably build a fire or something" he says glancing round. "yeah why don't you go get some wood while I try and build a shelter of something" I sigh, "sounds good, hopefully in the morning we can find a town of something" Steve says. "hopefully" I say, once I had managed to make a shelter of some sorts Steve had returned and was working on lighting the fire. "need any help?" I ask, "I think I've got it, there we go" he says when he finally got a small fire going. "so what's with the flag uniform?" I ask him, he chuckles slightly "well started back in the war I sold war bonds as captain America, and then I got into the actual fight" he explains. "the war? Shouldn't you be like 100 then?" I ask confused, "don't you know? I got frozen in ice for 70 years" Steve explains, "so for 70 years you were a capsicle" I smirk. "I've heard that one before" Steve laughs "you sound like my friend stark", I raise a brow at him "Tony stark?" I ask, "yeah" Steve says, "I know him too, small world I guess" I say. Our conversation gets interrupted by people approaching "there you guys are, you know there are other ways to send a signal" Nat laughs, "Nat god am I happy to see you" I smile running over and hugging her. "you know Nat too?" Steve asks, "wait what?" Nat asks confused. "you know Steve? we just met" I tell her, "no you guys have known each other for years" Nat says pointing between the two of us. "I think I would remember Steve" I say, Nat looks at us confused "um okay well the jet is this way, we'll get you guys back home" she says leading us to the jet. "do you know what she was going on about?" Steve asks me, "not a clue, we haven't met before have we?" I ask him, "not that I remember" he sighs.
