10) Stars

Robbie X Reader

(Y/N)'s POV

As I sat on my chair staring at my painting, which is incomplete, I groaned and lied down on the floor. Ever since Robbie got a part as Peter Pan in Once Upon A Time, I was inspired to paint something related to it.

I was trying to paint the night sky. Then I'll add the second star to the right for some Peter Pan effect. The night sky was already there and the only thing missing in my painting was some stars.

While I stared at the ceiling, I wondered how stars look like. I know that they're white and very very far away. My night sky seemed so sad and lonely without the stars but I'm really having a lot of trouble figuring how to paint them. I took out my phone and texted my best friend Robbie.

Me: Hi Robbie can I ask you a random question?

Robbie: You're always random (Y/N). Now shoot.

Me: What color are the stars?

Robbie: White.

Me: You're no help!

Robbie: I just answered your question.

Me: I mean can you describe to me the stars?

Robbie: I'll go over at your house later on 6:00 p.m. We're going out, wear something comfortable. Gotta go.

Me: Kay 😜

Robbie: Ha ha. 🙄

I laid my phone on the ground. I could just search up stars on the internet but I want to be inspired and I want the idea to be mine. I don't want to copy some picture. I still have five hours to wait for Robbie to come.

I started on another painting. I was glad on the outcome and I saw that now I have three hours before Robbie comes. I decided to use that time to clean myself up. I wore my jeans, tied my hair in a ponytail and wore my favorite jacket.

I heard the doorbell ring and I answered it. I told my mom that I'll be out and she just nodded. I saw Robbie outside looking so cute.

(Y/N) stop thinking about him like that.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"It's a surprise but you need to bring your art supplies."

"Alright," I said. When I got everything, the both of us started walking to wherever Robbie wants the both of us to go to. I don't really mind walking and I always look up at the sky every once in a while. You don't always get to see the stars here. "How was filming?"

"It's really fun today," he replied.

"Cool," I said.

While we were walking, I keep on looking at Robbie every once in a while. He just looks so cute and I've actually started to have a crush on him three years ago. Yeah that long. I heard my phone ringing and it was Brandon. I sighed and rolled my eyes before I read his text.

Brandon: Hi do you want to go out tonight?

I chuckled. Brandon is really persistent. He's been trying to asking me out two months ago. He's always had a crush on me and his confidence just grew and then he finally won't stop asking me out. It's partially my fault too though. I feel like I'm giving him some encouragement since I'm not really saying no.

Me: Sorry. Robbie and I are out. Maybe some other time. 😊

Brandon: Ok sure.

I closed my phone and placed again in my bag.
