Robbie Kay X Reader

(Y/N)'s POV

After years of running, I was finally caught. I didn't struggle and just let the police take me inside the car, taking me to the place where I deserve to be in. Huge tears fell from my eyes but I let them fall. I didn't want to see the bloodied body of my best friend, my only friend, being carried inside the ambulance. In my mind, he's dead but my stupid heart is telling me to have hope that he somehow survived.

The drive to the nearest police station was all a blur. The entire time, I was just thinking of him. I missed him so much. I dreamed he was here to hug me and comfort me and tell me that everything was going to be alright. Reality hit me hard when the car stopped and I was being led inside.

All my personal belongings were taken from me and I was interviewed by some dude. Then they led me inside a jail cell filled with other girls where I spent the night. After a few days, I was sent to a jailhouse. I spent eighteen months in there. That's the place where I met my best friend (B/F/N). She was sent there the same day I was and we became instant friends.

She was there for forgery and I told her that I was there for theft. She was sentenced there for about three years. I waited for her and gave her phone calls when my sentence was over with and I was free again. We never talked about the bad times in our pasts but instead we talked about the good times and our future when we leave. She said that she wanted to own a bakery someday and I told her that I could cook for her since I'm an amazing one, not to brag.

When I was free, I went back to my sad and empty house which was cared for by my sister until I came back. She helped me make a fresh start and she got me a waitressing job. I enjoyed my job and was earning enough money to buy the empty lot just a few blocks away from my house so that there I could start a bakery for (B/F/N). Almost everyday, this lady with blonde hair comes to the cafe where I work. I was able to talk to her and I found out that her name was Fiona. Every time, she comes there, she leave me a huge tip, which I was very grateful for. So after a year, I was able to buy that empty lot and start building a small bakery.

I was counting the days until (B/F/N) will finally be free and I planned a lot of things for us to do. But all my plans were all for naught when I received a certain phone call. It was from the jailhouse where both (B/F/N) and I spent our time. I had no idea why they were calling and I had nothing to hide and I've done nothing wrong but I couldn't help but feel scared and nervous on what they were about to say.

"We need you to come here immediately," the person in the phone said.

"Why? I haven't done anything wrong."

"It's not about you (Y/N). It's about (B/F/N), she needs you right now. She's dying."

I dropped everything I was doing and I didn't even bother to change from my work clothes. I took my car and drove back to the jailhouse. I was immediately given passage inside and was guided inside their hospital wing. The door flew open and I saw (B/F/N) inside fighting for her life. The tears couldn't stop and I held (B/F/N)'s hand tightly. She slowly opened her eyes and looked at me. She shot me a small smile and I held her cheek.

"What happened?" I asked the nurse.

"There was a fight earlier and she was trying to stop it but one of the girls had a sharp object with her and stabbed her. She might not survive the night."

I smiled at (B/F/N) for her bravery. I saw that she was trying to open her mouth to say something but she was just stressing herself. That's not good for her. "Shhhh. It's gonna be alright."

"(Y/N) you need to listen to me," she said. I nodded coming closer. "Thank you for being such a good friend to me. Thank you for helping me when it was hard here and now I have one last request. Try to have closure with Robbie."
