139) The World Is Ugly

Peter Pan X Reader

Peter was in London, trying to take a break from Neverland. It was dark and gloomy because it was already night but he didn't mind. He was just on the rooftops of London and wasn't even being given a second look because people couldn't exactly see him.

Peter enjoyed his visits in London since the busy streets and people being so busy and occupied with their own trivial lives always found a way to fascinate him. As much as he enjoyed living in Neverland with his Lost Boys, magic, and would occasionally battle the Pirates, he liked to take a rest from it all and London was his favorite place.

When Peter was about to head back, he saw something strange. He sensed an aura of magic near him. He decided to try to look for it, feeling really curious on how there was real magic in this realm. Peter searched and searched until he finally saw where the aura was coming from. It was from this kid who was running for his life. Peter's eyebrows scrunched up in confusion until he saw that there was a gang of other bigger and older kids trying to catch up to him.

The magical kid was trapped in a dead end and by the older kids. The older kids were about six or seven which was unfair because they were all against that poor kid. Peter felt intrigued on what was going to happen to the fight. He'd usually not pay any attention to this type of thing since it's obvious that the gang would win, but the kid they were up against had magic. Peter wanted to know how much he knew how to use it.

All of a sudden, the fight began to commence and Peter watched in concentration at how the kid fought the older kids. He noted that his fighting style was pretty good. A little sloppy on some parts and could use some improvement, but there was some foundation which was good. Peter was also really impressed at the stamina and strength of the kid which he knew was because of the magic he possessed.

It wasn't long before the fight ended and the kid was victorious. Before the older kids had the chance to recover, he ran as fast as he could. Peter took that as his cue to introduce himself and take that kid as his new Lost Boy. Peter followed him until he stopped to catch his breath on another ally way. He found a way to corner the kid since the alley way was another dead end.

"You came for more?" The kid said.

It was only when the kid spoke, was when Peter realized that the kid was a girl. But that wasn't going to stop his plan from turning her into a Lost Girl.

"No I came for you," Peter replied. "I want you to come with me."

"Why?" She scoffed. "Who knows what you'll do to me."

Peter wanted this girl to come with him through her own free will. "I know you have magic."

"You're stupid to think that."

Something flared inside Peter being called stupid but he tried to control his temper. "You have magic and so do I." Peter suddenly conjured up fire in his hands making the girl startled. Peter smirked at her reaction.
