Robbie Kay X Reader

What is the best foundation for relationships?

Trust.

That's what Robbie and (Y/N) had.

(Y/N) and Robbie were high school sweethearts. They've been together for four years now and counting. When Robbie started to get more famous, his girlfriend, (Y/N), was always so supportive of him. She wasn't the jealous type and always made good friends with Robbie's co-stars and leading ladies.

(Y/N) never really thought that in the future she'd be an actress just like her boyfriend. It all began when one of Robbie's co-stars, Mary, made (Y/N) her substitute for the audition. Mary's schedule was too packed and so she encouraged (Y/N) to take her audition. (Y/N) was hesitant at first but she thought that she could maybe try for it. She didn't get the role that she auditioned for but she received a bigger role. That was how (Y/N)'s acting career started.

As much as the couple wanted to have a project together, it never happened. So the both of them have different movies and series. Now, Robbie was planning to visit (Y/N) in the set. She was the leading lady in the movie and her leading man was a guy named Michael Palton. He wasn't really that known and this was his first role as the main protagonist.

Robbie walked over to (Y/N)'s trailer and was about to knock. When his hand was near her door, he heard a different voice inside her trailer.

"I don't think I can do this," he heard (Y/N)'s voice.

"Don't think," the male voice said. "Just do it."

Robbie heard breathing and no one was speaking. He leaned in and placed his ear at her door.

"I can't," (Y/N)'s voice sounded so heartbreaking.

Robbie couldn't take any of this anymore and knocked on the door.

"Come in!" He heard (Y/N) say.

He opened the door and saw (Y/N) and Michael sitting right beside each other with a bunch of paper in their hands. Robbie then realized that (Y/N) was just rehearsing her lines and mentally kicked himself in the head for ever doubting her.

"Robbie!" (Y/N) squealed and gave her boyfriend a tight hug. "I can't believe you didn't tell me you're coming today!" She exclaimed with such excitement and happiness in her voice.

"I wanted to surprise you love," he said. (Y/N) laughed and gave him a kiss on the cheeks.

"Oh right, I need to introduce you to my leading man. Michael," she held Robbie's hand and led him to him. "Robbie, Michael. Michael, Robbie."

The two boys shook hands and gave each other friendly smiles. (Y/N) was really happy that Robbie came to visit her. Mostly because of their jobs, they just talk by text or FaceTime. The next time they're supposed to see someone is after at least two months. She was glad that she didn't have to wait that long to see her boyfriend again.
