Thomas's POV

Three months.

(Y/N) has been in a coma for three months. News of her accident was like a huge boulder was thrown at me and squashed me flat. I wasn't allowed to go to her room before since they don't think that I should leave the room yet. Despite of my pleading and begging, they still didn't let me. So I just ask about her from the other doctors.

Just a month ago, I was released from the hospital. I was glad since I was able to visit (Y/N). I would visit her almost everyday.

She seemed so peaceful in her sleeping state. I hope that she'll wake up again. I want to see her beautiful eyes again. Hear her voice and her laugh. I want to see her smile again because that's the only thing that could brighten my day. I know that it sounded cheesy but it's true.

Now, as I was walking towards (Y/N)'s room, I was holding flowers. They were lilies which I've heard that she loved so much because of Oliver. At first I felt jealous at the mention of another guy's name but then I learned about their past. I felt sorry for (Y/N). The doctors even told me that he promised her that they would go on a real date when he was released but they never had it. They said that the bracelet was a promise that he was going to be alright and that their future will be with each other.

I entered the room and saw Dr. Sandra looking at (Y/N). She jumped a little when she saw me but then she smiled at me. We greeted each other and I asked her what was happening to (Y/N). She said that nothing has changed yet much to my dismay.

"You want to be alone with her?" She asked.

"Yes."

I was grateful when she said that and left the room. I placed the flowers on (Y/N)'s table and held her hand. My thumb was rubbing her knuckles as I stared at her.

Nothing.

"Hi (Y/N)," I started. "I've brought you flowers. They're lilies. I've heard that they're one of your favorites."

Still nothing.

"I know that we've only known each other for a week but I can't stop the feelings I have for you. I'm not exactly sure of I'm in love with you but I've grown to care for you. I know all about your history with Oliver. I would understand if you would reject me when you wake up. I really hope that you would wake up."

Still nothing.

"Everything about you captivates me. You're a really special human being. You're a great doctor. I'm not lying really. Everyone of your patients were devastated when they heard about your accident. You've left quite a mark in their lives. You've left an even bigger one in mine. So please wake up. If not for me, then for you patients."

I stood up from my seat and looked at her for a long time. As if it was the last time I would see her. I leaned in and kissed her forehead.

It was then I heard a long beeping sound. I looked up and saw that it the line was flat. There were no ups and downs. It's flat.

I know that it means she's dead but she can't be.

"(Y/N)! (Y/N)! Please don't leave! (Y/N)!"

Doctors and nurses bursted inside the room while I was led out. My hands were shaking and I started to cry.

Please don't leave (Y/N).

Please don't leave.

Stay alive.
