28) The Princess Of Neverland - Part 4

Peter Pan X Reader

(Y/N)'s POV

The poison slowly made its way into my body, I could feel it flowing inside of me. Peter told me about Dreamshade and its effects on people but I feel like the effect on me is different. He told me that I would feel a lot of pain as the poison is slowly killing me from the inside. I do feel pain and I felt weak but there's something else.

As I was suffering from the pain, I heard the conversation between Captain Blackbeard and Peter. I heard that the Captain killed the woman he loved and that woman was my mother and it was under the orders of Peter Pan himself. I wouldn't believe it when I heard it but I heard Peter own it when he replied with his voice filled with confusion and shock. I couldn't listen any longer and just wished that the poison would just kill me now. My heart has been broken by Alex and Peter. I thought the hole that Alex created was huge but Peter made a larger one.

I felt myself being whisked away from the ship. I opened my eyes and saw that Peter took me where the cure for Dreamshade could be found. I was very angry with the new information I've just heard and I wanted to strangle him right now. It was then I felt myself getting stronger. I felt a lot of energy brewing inside of me and I was able to break the ropes and run away from him.

I ran into the woods not knowing where I was supposed to go. This felt like the first time I was here but the reason was now different. The first time I was here, it was because my heart was broken but now I felt like I had something I needed to do. I stopped running when I was greeted face to face by a lady who seemed to have some of my qualities.

"Who are you?" I asked.

"Hello (Y/N). I'm your mother," she replied. I was shocked and I didn't know how to react. She hugged me tightly and kissed my forehead gently.

"But I thought you were dead!" I said. Then I wondered if this was one of Peter's tricks or the effect of the Dreamshade.

"I am."

"But how are you here? How can you prove to me that you're my mom? You might just be one of Peter's tricks." She lifted her hand and touched my forehead. A memory played in my mind.

I was just a baby and my mother was singing me to sleep in a familiar shoreline. It was a tune that I've known by heart. I sing that song to myself whenever I have a bad dream, a horrible day or whenever I feel lonely. I've always wondered where I've heard it and now I know.

"(Y/N) look at everything around you. You will one day rule over this beautiful island and take care of all the magical creatures. They will look up to you for guidance and leadership." I looked at baby (Y/N) and I saw that she was starting to cry but my mother continued singing until I saw baby (Y/N) smile. "Don't worry (Y/N)," she kissed my forehead. "You're father and I will help you and guide you."

I smiled and I tear escaped my eye. I really wished that I was able to meet my mother but Peter had to go and ruin it. I felt a pain at my heart but it wasn't that strong. I ignored it and continued watching the memory my mom is showing me.

I saw that a man approached her and gave kissed her on the lips. I knew immediately that he was my father. My mom blushed and smiled like a lovesick schoolgirl. She rested her head on my dad's shoulder and sat on the white sandy beach. It was a picture of a perfect happy family. It was so perfect but that perfection didn't last long.

My mother and father saw a ship coming at the distance. My parents stood up and looked closer at the ship. My dad looked at the flag and knew that it was Captain Blackbeard's ship along with his crew. My parents transported the three of us into a huge castle. I looked at my parent's face and saw that it contained a look of pure horror.
