Adonis POV

“So do we all agree that calling three separate packs meeting will be more beneficial since Ryan is only from one pack?” We answered father in agreement. “Good, this meeting is adjourned; training will start once all three packs have been informed.”

Osiris brought the idea of having three separate meetings since Ryan is in Cyan’s pack. We can modify the information we give the Cielo pack while informing the other two packs of the real danger. Alpha command will be used on the two packs so they will keep the information to themselves. While the future betas, me, Zion, Helios, and Cyan set up for training, the current leaders will informed their prospective packs of the pending danger.

“I am so excited!” Akem smiled on our way to get the training room ready.

He wasn't the only one; all of us were ecstatic because we finally get to put all our training to good use. While the lurking danger might worry the pack members, it will fire them up.

“Osiris, you mentioned something about an eclipse Friday. When is it?” Cain stopped and turned to my mate who was walking beside Helios. He was avoiding me; I really messed up didn’t I?

“There should be a lunar eclipse coming up in three weeks.” He told Cain.

“Osiris, there is no eclipse coming up in three weeks. Were your calculations wrong perhaps?” Cyan asked him.

We were all staring at Osiris, just about ready to panic. He closed his eyes and inhaled; when he opened them, they were glowing pitch black. He turned around and tilted his head to the side like he was listening to something. A sudden chill came over me which had me thinking that he was probably talking to something dead.

After a few minutes of us staring at him with wide eyes, he turned back to us, his eyes now changing to their effervescent purple.

“No, there is a lunar eclipse coming up. I can feel it.” Now we were staring at him like he had three heads.

“How can you tell?” Akem asked him.

“For two reasons; eclipses, blue moon, natural phenomena, all these things always happen on my birthday. Plus, this is your town so you all figure it out.” He looked away from us but didn’t say anything after what. Great, the secretive Osiris was back.

“That’s right, you turn seventeen soon. But I have to agree with Cain, there is no eclipse.” He snapped his head up when I walked to him and watched me warily. Drawing closer to Helios and away from me, he shrugged and started walking again. We looked at each other and followed him, wondering what was up with him.

“A solar eclipse – sounds familiar. Mm, I will check it later.”

“What are you mumbling about Helios?” Cyan asked Hel whose brows were knitted together.

“Oh nothing; I think Osiris might be right about the eclipse. I think I've seen something about it somewhere before, I just can’t put my finger on it.”

“You saw it on the internet,” Cain rolled his eyes at my brother.

“No, that’s not it. Forget it, I will check later.”
