Adonis POV

Splash! We landed in Osiris' bathroom pool. Grim, Azazel and I watched as Cyan, Helios, and Zion started to puke their guts out. Weaklings! My eyes followed Osiris when he ran through his bathroom door and to his bedroom. I trailed after him, already knowing where he was going. He and I ran towards Dar's room but were stopped when Tia and Mia tackled us. One of the girls grabbed onto Osiris as she cried while the other choked me in a bear hug.

"Master!" Tia or was it Mia, sniffed, crying on Osiris' shoulders. I could never tell the difference between them. Osiris held her tighter, cooing to her that everything was fine now and that he was back for good. Soon they switched places and repeated the hugging and crying. When we finally pulled away, I saw the others standing to the side giving us privacy. I joined the group, and watched the girls hugged Osiris. He held them closer, letting them squeeze him.

"Those girls bothers me," Cyan commented as he watched the exchanged between Osiris and the girls. "Adonis, I know this is a weird question, but are they..." Cyan looked towards Helios, who was also watching Osiris, Tia, and Mia. He closed his mouth, not wanting to say anything that could scar Hel for life.

My head turned to the side when I heard rustling. Azazel had back Cyan against the wall and lean closer to his lips. I shouldered about to look away, but the next phrase out of the reaper's mouth peaked my interest.

"Yes, they are dead," he smirked when Cyan glared hard at him.

"Let go," Cy pushed Azazel away but he came back, pressing their body together.

"You asked a question "mate" and I am providing the answer." He quickly grabbed both of Cyan's hands before they could smack him. "Their souls are rare amongst reapers, because, after death, they elude our capture. There are many ways this could happen; one being a ruthless tragedy the soul has experience. But having a soul wonder the earth can turn it feral. One can guess that is how they came in contact with Iris. They tried to haunt him, and he put them in their place." Azazel laughed, ran his fingers through Cyan's hair and disappeared before our eyes.

Cyan swallowed and clenched his fists tightly. Not wanting to meet his angry glare, I turned away towards Osiris and the girls but they were gone.

"Where did they go?" Helios asked. "I was paying attention to-" he stopped and peeked at Cyan nervously. "I mean I was thinking of something."

Deciding to spare my partner in crime, I changed the topic. "They are probably in Dar's room, let's go." I led the way, navigating through Osiris' grand castle. We turned a few corners until we reached our destination. Pushing the door opened, I looked around the room and saw Osiris standing over the enclosed glass case containing Dar and Nafre's body.

Coming closer to Osiris, my gaze watched him as he lifted his hands, and closed his eyes. Some ancient words I could not understand were spilling out of his mouth like a chant. I took a step back when Dar and Nafre started to glow brightly until it was blinding. I covered my eyes and turned my head. Hearing an audible gasp, I carefully return my gaze back grateful that the brightness was gone.

The two servants sat up, looking confused and dizzy. "Are you both all right?" Osiris soft voice whispered to them, probably not wanting to startle the two. They both jerked their heads towards him and jumped him in a crushing hug. Osiris stepped back; Dar and Nafre fell out of the glass case, falling on Osiris. I did not bother helping them up because they just adopted position and hugged him harder.
