Hi Readers, here is chapter seven. This chapter is long because I want to move things along quickly so I am really sorry for the length. I wanted to separate it into part one and two but I might not have the chance to upload the second part tomorrow so enjoy the entire thing.

Adonis POV

“First I want to explore the Obsidian Sea,” I whispered kissing my way up his bare back. “Then the Solis volcano; our fathers claims that there, contains a beautiful island with some deadly animals every alpha has to experience.” I grazed his smooth skin with my teeth and licked my way up to his neck, chuckling when he shivered.

“Is this some rite of passage?” He asked, looking back at me.

I studied his face, mostly starting at his lips. “Your lips are so red,” I peck them tenderly.

“Yeah no thanks to you;” he watched me as I drink in his features.

“My little king, everything about you is beautiful, especially your lips.”

He looked away from me shyly, “you put me on a pedestal; I feel unworthy-”

“Yes, some of it is sort of a rite of passage; this town has lots of secrets and some strange wild life. To truly rule as an alpha, we have to understand the town first.” I explained, mostly cutting him off because I had no intention of hearing him say he’s unworthy.

He stared at me for a while and sighed finally giving up the fight that I would no doubt win. Osiris was lying on his stomach as he listened to me tell him all the things I wish to do before taking the crown as an alpha. I stopped the blanket when he tried to cover his naked body.

“Don’t, I love seeing you in your splendid glory.”

“Well this splendid glory is cold so let go.” He chuckled at his own joke and leaned into me for a kiss. I met him halfway, welcoming the invitation to savor his lips. Sooner than I would like, he pulled away and I realized that I was seduced into giving up the blanket.

“You have a living heater right here and you choose a blanket, I feel my talent is under appreciated.” I narrowed my eyes at him trying to look stern and unappreciated but I couldn’t help but snicker at my own childishness.

“We both know you are a horrible heater. I am too tired to satisfy your insatiable hunger, so I choose the blanket.

“Fine, you can have the blanket, but when it betrays you, just know you have this awesome body to warm you up.” I give him my cocky signature smirk and raised my brows when he stared at me in disbelief.

“Now you go too far; I will have you know I trust blanket very much.” He said seriously removing all the humor from his words.

“Right…” I studied him wondering if he was really serious; he had a very dry humor sometimes. “Anyway when will I get to meet your mother?” I asked.

“That is quite a change of topic.” I pushed the blanket down to his waist and ran my hands up and down his back, while still trying to convey the seriousness of my words; “If fate does not intervene then probably never.”

“Why?” I asked noting that he was not kidding.

“She thinks she ruin my life but the truth of the matter is, I destroy hers first.” Before I could ask how, he placed a slender finger to my lips and I couldn’t help but lay a shallow kiss on it. “You have heard of demon possession; that was what happened to her. It took me a while to notice, and by the time I did it was too late. She was always around Dar and Nafre and constantly feeding of their dark energy, and I’m afraid she went insane as a result. Since she could not see them, she thought I was the cause…”
