Adonis POV

“What is the next game?” Osiris asked, playing with my left hand. He would intertwine our fingers and untangle them, caressing each digit with care before he repeats the process. All of this was done absently, like it required minimum effort although the emotion it elicits within me was heart pounding. We were lying on our backs, opposite each other with our heads closed together as we made up games to play. It was morning in Aeternum, the start of a new day. After waking up comfortable and rested, we took a shower, changed into brand new clothes that were magically brought to the room – very freaky.

Osiris wanted us to leave so we could check up on the others but I wanted more time with him. So we stayed put and were now entertaining ourselves with made-up games. We haven’t talked about anything that happened so far. I think we both know it would be a heavy and heart-wrenching conversation so we were stalling for time.

My eyes traveled to our connected hands, watching in content as he played with my fingers, the act almost hypnotizing me.

“What’s your favorite body part on me?” I asked, wondering if it was my fingers due to how softly he touched them.

“I love you Adonis, all of you.” He brought my fingers to his lips, lying gentle kisses on them. He elevated his eyes to mine, watching my reactions.

“I know that,” I licked my lips, becoming aroused even though what he was doing was innocent. “I just need to know what your favorite body part is; like if you had to live without something on me, what body part would hurt the most to see gone?” I turned on my side, leaning over him on my right hand, leaving the other for him to continue his play.

He chuckled at my expression that was begging him to answer the question. “Adonis, it would agonize me if a single grain of hair on your head were misplaced. But if I must pick a single favorite, it would be your eyes. Your eyes never lie even when you do. I can see your guilt and honesty in your eyes. I loved their clear grey color. I knew you loved me from your eyes before the words came out of your kissable lips.”

I felt heat on my cheeks, and I touched them, not understanding why they were warm.

“You blushed, that’s a first. I have to say, I enjoy that color on you, and I particularly enjoyed inflicting it.” He smiled; his eyes softened until my inside melted. “You are undeniably adorable,” he ran a soft touch over my still burning cheeks using our interlocked hands. “So cute,” he grinned when I glared.

A rumbling growled left my throat at being called cute and adorable. “Ew, I am not cute or adorable Osiris. I am the sexiest thing alive, so ingrain it into that beautiful mind of yours.”

“You are just too–”

“My turn,” I said loudly, interrupting him.

He flashed me a pleasant smile but remained quiet. I sadly remove my hands from his and straddled his waist. He held my sides with both hands, his thumbs rubbing my bare skin. I was wearing dark pants and shirtless; he too was wearing light baby blue long pants, his chest also bared, different from what he wore for his hearing.
