Sodapop Imagine (Requested)

Alrighty, so this is the second request of the day for whatup1234567. I hope ya'll enjoy!!

I was supposed to be with them. I was supposed to go to Dairy queen with them, and I didnt. I was being selfish. Earlier in the day a girl asked me out and I told her yes, I canclled plans with two of the most importatn people in my life. And they got the worst end of it.
I got the news when I arrived home that night. Darry was sitting in the armchair, no one else was home.
"Hey sodapop. There is something that I need to tell you." he told me as he stood up. I was dropping the truck keys on the coffee table and then turned around to head for the shower.
"Can we talk after I get out of the shower please?" 
Darry stopped the door from closing and said, "It's Johnny."
"What about him?" I stood close to him as he finished.
"and Kandy. They got jumped earlier. Johnny is bad but Kandy is worse. They were out by the lot. Steve heard them yelling on his way home from work and found them. He woke up Johnny, but Kandy was still unconscience when we took them to the hospital."
"The hospital!?"
"Yeah everyone else is there now."
For what seemed like forever I stood in awe. My hands ran through my hair and I almost teared up.
"Come on." Darry put a hand on my shoulder and directed me out the door. When we got into the yard, the girl I had gone out with earllier that night was walking up to the door. I hurried past her.
"Soda. Soda!" she caught up to me and walked in front of me smiling widley.
"Sandy I cant stop right now."
"You forgot this." She shoved my flannel into my hands.
"Thanks I said while I continued walking."
"I had fun tonight." She stopped in front of me again.
I moved her out of the way and contiied to the car. I got half way in when she followed and rested a hand on my shoulder. "We should go out again. What are you doing Satureday night?"
Darry leaned over from his spot and said to her, "Listen, Sandy is it? Soda has to go, he will call you."
"Well he doesnt have my number." she chuckled.
"If it is meant to be he will find you."  Darry put the car in drive and we sped away down the road.

At the hospital

When we walked in the gang was all standing in the hallway including Johnny who had a couple of stiches in the side of his cheek. He seemed shook up, and not fully there. No suprise, some Soc's jump you, your going to be shaken.
"Where is Kandy?" I asked Steve. He pointed into the room in front of us.
I walked in quietly by myelf and tooka seat next to her bed. She was still unconscience, she looked peacful. At least asleep she was in no pain. I looked at her for a while then began apologizing.
"Im sorry Kandy. I should have been there. I could have protected you both. You wouldnt be hurt, niether of you would." tears began slipping from my eyes. Her eyes were swollen and so was her top lip.
"Please forgive me." I was crying. The door made a dreaking sound and I looked over. The whole gang was standing there watching me. First Johnny came and hugged me, then everyone else followed.
"She'll be fine." Johnny whispred to me. "It'll all be fine."
