Warning: This one is a tiny bit sad.

You had known it from the start that something was wrong. Two's hands were twitching uncontrollably he developed an odd walk and for some reason his mood was much different from before. Two never argued with you even in a drunk fit, but now, now he was irritable, and yelling about every little inconvenience. But somehow you KNEW this just wasn't him. So one day you approached the gang with your problem after Two went out for a drink.
Everyone was sitting in the living room besides Darry who was washing dishes in the kitchen.
"Do yall think that maybe, maybe um, Two Bit has been acting a little, um strange?"
"What do ya mean?" Pony responded.
"I don't know. He just shakes alot and he's been yelling at me lately."
"Yelling at you?!" Dallas chipped in.
"Well he's just more irritable."
There was a long pause
"I don't know though. Just forget it "
"No if something is up with Two we want to help him." Johnny explained.
Darry walked into the living room drying his hands on a towel.
"What's up with Two?"
Pony described the symptoms of Two's mystery problem and Darry just nodded, he looked like he was contemplating something.
"Maybe take him to see a doctor?" He suggested.
"I'm not going to take him to the doctors. It's not that serious."
"No, it's not. But it sounds like something I've heard of. Just take him. Please."
"He ain't ever gonna go for it."
"Just try. If he don't go with you, I'll try, but you try first. He loves you, he'll do it."
With a sigh you got up off the couch and grabbed your coat, but just before walking out of the door you turn around and say "Thank you."
You walk up to Two's door, he went home after buying  some beer. On his porch you stop to take a deep breath then continued knocking on his door.
His mom answered. "Hi Ms. Mathews, can I talk to Two?"
"Of course doll." The older woman said with a smile. "Please come in, I'll go get him for you."
"Thank you."
Ms. Mathews started up the stairs to Two bits room. That women had always been nice to you. She was a slender petite woman, with dark black hair and kind eyes. Although she was really sweet to you and Dals girlfriend D.G she was harsh with the gang. Really because she was the only adult that really existed in their world. The only person besides Darry who could set anything straight. Although the gang never really mentioned her to anyone she was a very big influence on Pony and Soda, spending most nights at the Curtis house after the death of their parents until they got back on their feet.
You were snapped out of your dreamy haze by the sounds of Two and Ms. Mathews coming down the stairs. You already had Twos jacket in your hands when he got their.
"Hey babe." You greeted him.
"Hey." Hey said kissing you in the cheek. That was closet you had been to him in a long time. For a shirt second you remember all the nights when you had to bring Two home because he had over drank again. You would lay him out on the couch and cover him with a blanket and after a long kiss you would just watch him sleep until morning just so you knew he was okay.
"Here." You handed him his jacket.
"Where are we going?"
"It's a suprise."
"Where are we going?" He stood there looking like he had just been betrayed, holding his jacket.
"Please just put on the jacket."
When he was about to argue back Ms. Mathews layer a loving hand on her sons chest.
"Honey, go."
Two sighed and put on his jacket, then followed you out to the car. Normally when you guys go on dates he drives. But this time you got into the drivers seat. The whole ride was silent despite your continuous attempts to strike up conversation.
When you pulled into the parking lot of the doctors office you could see him about to ask questions.
"Please." You turned to him and took his hands. "If you love me, you will find out what has been going on. Your different lately."
"I'm not different." He said stubbornly.
"See there it is, the attitude."
"Maybe I don't want to know what is wrong with me." He turned away from you but quickly you grabbed him by the shoulder.
"Two, I love you. You know that no matter the outcome I will keep loving you. Just because something may be wrong doesn't mean I'm going to leave."
He looked at your eyes for a moment then got out of the car, you followed him into the office.

6 months later

The results came back from his genetics test. The doctor had told you that it was odd to see the disease in someone so young but it was there. Huntington's disease. The disease had been passed down by his father, and now he was developing the beginning stages. Telling the gang was harder than either of you thought it would be, but you stood by him like you said you would. And you were happy, he was too. The medication he took helped the symptoms and he was close to being the same Two bit again besides the fact that he had to cut down on the drinks. You stood by him until the year he turned 47. Sadly he departed, leaving you on earth to live out the rest of your life to the fullest. It was what he wanted you to do. The time you had with him had blessed you with 5 children the oldest being 20 and going to college! You think of him everyday, every little thing reminds him of you and you live your life th best you can until the day you join him in peace for eternity.

I hope you guys liked it, sorry for the depressing mood, I figured maybe we should take a moment to appreciate everything we gave. Expecially now that the holidays are on the way. Happy early holidays everyone. I love you all 🤘💙
