I sighed for the nth time as I continued watching her peaceful form lying on the hospital bed. My hand's grip on hers tightened. I brought it to my lips and kissed it lightly.

Tiningnan ko muna ang natutulog na si Saccharine bago nagsalita. "I want you to find out every single detail about a certain Jacob Marasigan. If it can help, he is the CEO of JM Construction Co."
"Hmm..." It took him a second before saying, "Everything, huh? Okay. Give me a week."
"Not a week, Joziah!" napataas ang boses ko sa narinig. "Give it to me as soon as possible."
