A/N: So this is the second part to the previous one shot, as I was really enjoying writing it. :P
-----------------------
Dan's POV
Phil and I had been meeting up for the past week, after college obviously, but we had become so close even in this short time that we've had. He has literally been the only thing on my mind for the past week and it's hard to concentrate sometimes, but I wouldn't have it any other way. HIs smile, his laugh, his eyes; don't even get me started on his eyes. They are honestly so beautiful that it should be illegal!
"Dan!" my mum calls from down stairs. "What time is Phil getting here?"
I glance at me hand once I feel the burning sensation on my wrist, indicating the love of my life is writing on his wrist- to me.
'I'm nearly there, I think :) ' is written on my wrist, causing me to smile widely.
I sprint down the stairs and swing the front door open before jogging to the end of the path to see my handsome soulmate waltzing towards me with an equally as wide smile on his face. My hands begin to tremble - with excitement- and my leg shakes uncontrollably. Honestly, look what this boy does to me!
"Hey," he smiles warmly, excitement laced in his tone.
I smile, while wrapping my arms around his shoulders, having to go on my toes slightly from the height difference, "Hey."
"Dan, let the poor boy go," my mum calls from the door, giggling slightly.
I unhook my arms from around Phil and blush at the fact that I was hugging this boy for so long. I glare at my mum for ruining my moment, but grab Phil's hand and drag him into the house, closing the door behind us.
"Mum, this is Phil. Phil, this is mum," I gesture between the two and decide to let them introduce themselves further themselves.
My mum smiles widely, acting like an overexcited teen, who just found out her otp's just got together, "Hi, Phil. It's so nice to finally meet you."
"You too, Mrs Howell," Phil shook my mum's hand timidly. I've never seen him so shy.
"Oh please, call me Sarah!" mum exclaims, enveloping Phil into a tight hug.
I pull away her arms, "Alright, mum. Let him breathe."
Phil laughs awkwardly and looks down and I can see slight hurt in his emotions. I glance at my mum, "Right we're going to go to my room, mum. We'll be down soon, promise."
"Alright, I'll have lunch ready in an hour."
I dragged a reluctant Phil up to my room, noticing the way his whole mood seemed to drop once he stepped inside my house. Did he not like me anymore? Was I too clingy? I shut the door behind me and leaned against it, my heart almost leaving my chest out of anxiety.
I stutter,"P-Phil?"
He glances up at me, with tears in his eyes, "Yeah?"
I sigh, "Are we okay? It's just you seem really down and I'm sorry if I'm too clingy-"
"No, no. Dan, we're fine. You are not to clingy at all," he begins fiddling with his hands. "I-it's just t-that when your m-mum h-hugged me. It reminded me of when my parents would h-hug me like that."
How could I be so stupid? Of course it was about that, Phil has been hurt so deeply by his parents rejecting him, "Oh, Phil. I'm so sorry, I can tell her to be less affectionate if you want."
"No! I- I l-like it," he smiles nervously and rubs the back of his neck. "I also like your hugs."
I blush madly and divert my gaze to my tapping feet, "R-really?"
I feel him slip his arms around my waist and his fingers tilt my chin up to meet his gaze, "Really, really."
I laugh, "You're so cheesy."
"You love it," he smirks.
"You know I do," I smirk back, leaning in slightly, our lips inches away from each other.
Just as I go to connect our lips, "Boys!" My mother bursts into the room, knocking us both to the floor. "Oh, I'm so sorry. I was just going to tell you that lunch is ready." She stifles a laugh, "But now I've intruded."
I roll my eyes, "Alright, mum. We'll be down in a sec." She laughs and walks out of the room, leaving me and Phil in a heaped pile of blush, "Sorry."
He laughs and strokes my fringe from my eyes, "It's okay. We can just finish later." He winks, while smirking, before getting up and holding out a hand for me. "Come on, soulmate."
Rolling my eyes again, I grab his hand and let him pull me up from the floor, "Thank you, soulmate."
"Anytime."
---------
7 years later....
"Phil! You ate my cereal, again!" I yell through the apartment, after noticing that half of my crunchy nut was missing.
Phil wandered in, with a smirk on his face, "Yeah?"
"Yeah? Is that all I get?" my shoulders droop, as I pour the remaining cereal into a bowl.
He wraps his arms around my waist, "No, you also get a kiss."
"No," I turn my head away, with a pout on my lips. "You don't get a kiss!"
"Ohh please, Danny bear!" Phil whined. "I need my morning kiss."
"Yeah, well I wanted cereal, but we don't always get what we want," I sigh. "I'll give you a kiss if you go and get me more cereal?"
He sighs, "Really, but it's all the way down the road and it's cold."
"You'd do it if you loved me," I pout childishly, knowing this was the way to get Phil to do anything.
"Really? You pull the if you love me card," he rolls his eyes and grabs his jacket from the side. "Only cos I love you and we're soulmates."
I hug him tightly from behind and kiss his cheek, "Thanks, Philly."
He quickly spins in my arms, attaching our lips quickly before running out of the front door, giggling like a five year old. I shake my head and go back to my cereal, carrying it into the lounge, where I sit down and watch the rest of the bake off.
My arm begins to tingle and I glance down at my arm to see, 'You're beautiful' written on my arm in the same scrawly handwriting that belongs to my soulmate.
